2-1 goal was a little bit lucky, but I'm happy with it. Finland won and my Germany +2.5 bet won also.

One newspaper reported (rumour) that two other players were leaving also. Finnish team will fly to USA/Canada tommorrow and I hope all players will be on board.

What are the OT rules in the WC? Do they play them like NHL playoffs, till one team scores
{no shootouts}?

From what i've noticed they've played this entire tournament with NHL rules instead of international so it seems like they'd play "golden goal" if the first OT wasn't enough...

think the czech game will be a toss up, tellvquist is the goalie for the rest of the tourny but czech really put it on at the end... the swede pp has been the best of any team so if that can come through then they shouldnt have too much to worry about...

us gets another "home" game although they were the 3rd seed, here's to hoping russia pulls one out again and shoot like crazy on esche like in game 2

and just found this from Doug Weight;

"If you are not turning the puck over at the blue line or going to the (penalty) box, there's not a lot of offense out there for them,".

I dont think the americans are ready for this, i'd go with USSR +1/

Look for some early action early by the US. I know Russia dominated them last time, but They were not ready to play. Wont be like tha again. The US team that played Slovakia was a much faster team and i think they got some confidence... Just remember, besides no Richter and Roenick, this is a better US team then the one that took silver in 2002. In that tournament they beat a much better Russian team. I see the USA in a 4-3 game tonight.

Canada is worth throwing a unit on tonight, only because its + money. Im not a fan of the -2.5 in hockey, but in this case Canada has way too much fire power, and I feel that Slovokia is ready to go home. Canada will be focused tonight with Broduer in net, but I def wouldnt make a play more than a unit though.

Hey slapshot, it was a good game. The Americans just refused to lose tonight. Tough break man. I didnt make a play because it was too close and i had my heart in it. Bounce back tonight with Canada

Line opened at Canada -2.5 +105, so its got beaten down. I'd hate to play this and see Canada win by 2 so I've got Canada in a 3 way outcome to win at -300. Don't see a full time draw as much of a possibility. Heavy juice, but easy money I think (hope).

Canada has every edge you can think of they only question is can Slovakia make it past the first 5 minutes

Slovakia must play a defence first game and hope Hossa or Gaborik can get one past Brodeur a huge task
