Started watching the show a few weeks ago and now I' am caught up to season 5. The show peaked in season 3. Four and five have been shit.

I don't know if the books are to blame or if it's the people who adapt the books to the tv show but the formulate gets old fast. Having the bad guys constantly have the upper hand gets lame. At first it's exciting but it's done so much that it loses it's appeal. The good guys are always massive underdogs, they look like lambs.

The only interesting moments are when Peter Dinklage's character and Arya come on the screen. The mother of dragons bitch feels like a filler storyline. She was interesting in the first season but after she started freeing the slaves every episode became the same thing.

Don't know how much longer they got to finish the show or if the shows are even supposed to match the books exactly but they should start working on the end already. The show feels like a movie that's been setting up the problems for too long. After a while you just want to see the resolution.

To add one last thing. Watching the later season 4 and 5, they start to feel like a parody at one point. Season 5 is like a fucking joke. I guess by season 5 we've just seen everything this world has to offer and the newness of it wore off.

Does this show have a continual story like Breaking Bad and 24?

I've suddenly become more interested in sand snakes. They need to expand that storyline...

Great episode, for a moment I feared for John Snow's life.

Tyrion dialogues are the shit!

Not long ago I had the feeling that I was going to give up on GOT but I'm glad I stuck with it. Tonights episode was great = Finally the White Walkers make a rare appearance and imho it was the wildest scene yet on GOT and thats saying something. Still trying to figure out why Jon Snow's sword did not shatter when the WW King whacked it. The WW knew something was up immediatley and a few seconds later he was snowflakes. I don't dare go to those geek sites where the nerds do nothing but Spoil on every question or topic that comes up...they are like competitive on who is more knowledgable on GOT and brag about when they finished reading it etc.

Yes, Tyrian is the best, when he is on I turn the volume up and focus. For the most part, the only bit of humor in the damn show. Also, the eye candy factor is still top shelf whether they are bit characters or main characters.

How cool is it to see Cirse? suffering in manacles... IT"S ABOUT FKNG TIME! Beautiful as she is she cannot die enough deaths ---she's almost as vile as that Bolton character, Sonsa's new husband. So like the chump that I am, I'll be all revved up for these last 2 episodes and then I'll be jonesin for a long while until it returns in 2018

His sword didn't shatter because it had dragon glass on it, which is how the fat kid said he killed one.

I thought about that but it looked like a regular sword. That magic glass is blackish and looked nothing like that sword he had. Plus he went for that glass earlier and failed to get it, right?

Good point. It was hard to tell in all the chaos so, I'd just assumed he had.

What ever happened to the little Stark kid that had the viewing talent. I can't remember what happened to him last season and we haven't seen him yet this season?

There was mention of Bran Stark on tonights show so it is prob a safe bet that he shows up in this season's finale just to stoke the fires and keep people coming back for next years series.

We have similar opinions Honz... Cersei is the hottest bitch ever... her sass turns me on... oh boy!

No spoiler cause I have not read the books but it seemed Snow couldn't reach the dragon glass. I think he is the fire king that the witch who is with Stannis is looking for!

You might be on to something there pockr... he does posess some magical qualities right... the esp action with the wolves plus the mystery of who his parents are and whatever else I've forgotten.

I'm almost certain he is not Ned's son, but his nephew. John is half dragon, half wolf... the son of Dragon prince that kidnapped Ned's sister.
