Granted it was a short film and had time constraints ??
There were at times really slow drawn out portions, almost got me to stop watching. Female cast was a good choice, tried to learn more about her but found nothing. Is she an unknown?
Granted she was a numbers person but the whole premise of her being a sharp in just a few months is very unrealistic. It takes a lot of time to hone this craft and even then...…… The part where she tried to middle a -2.5 with a plus 3.5 we never know the outcome and I am sure for movie magic it just happens to land on 3. The loss on the slots 10K if I recall after 36 hours is something normal and not unusual. I've never heard of anyone quit after such an experience and still have 1/2 the bankroll in tact of which the majority was still profit.
Dad just happening to be at the at GA meeting that was a stretch.
As you can see I'm not a homer, I could pick a bit more of it apart but it goes against the grain. I'm not a Degen or a gambler, I look at myself more as an investor like I am with stocks. I invest on a team or a player after doing my due diligence.
If you get it to a feature length you will really need to do a much bigger deep dive into a lot of aspects in the film.
