Right that's my opinion too. Highly rated defense vs bad teams or weather conditions. And when you're playing KC I'm not sure defense really matters at all. I think they have 3 impact defenders though, Hendrickson (is better than anyone on the Bills line), Logan Wilson is underrated and a sure tackler, and Bates on the back end. Their corners can hold their own too.

You're not going to completely stop the Chiefs and the "best D always wins" narrative is dead. I think they have the personnel to get the odd stop and that's huge against KC.

Not here to dance on anyone's grave but this was my point... you're not going to completely shut down Mahomes but I believed the Cincy defense had the personnel and the coaching to get the odd stop and they did.

Cincy won but underachieved was my point. It was more of Reid choking again. You dont get held to a FG in the second half when all of a sudden you stop making plays past the first down markers. Even the stupid TD attempt with 5 seconds on the clock proved what i said.
You NEVER pass the ball anywhere but in the end zone. He called for a dump off pass at the 3 yd line. Totally a bad call.
Cincy has won all close games. In fact every win was below averages on the season. They were out yarded in every win in the playoffs.

Thats true. but only because they got here from a division that had 3 broken teams in it. They lost to Cleveland twice.
They are a solid improved team but they are not impressive with the way they got here.
They could win again. maybe not.
I haven't decide yet until I start capping the game.

Well not quite like Tampa.
Tampa won because KC did what I predicted in my Super bowl write up last year. It was all because of 11 straight games by KC not winning by more than 6 points.

In addition, this was a regular season rematch that KC won the first game by 3 points. That game was lined at 3 then. And again in the Super Bowl - same line.
What changed was that KC had dropped of ny 6 points on offense per game which indicated why they were over priced and the wrong team to being favored.
It was one of the most obviously plays knowing the huge changes that occurred during the season and after the win over Tampa during the regular season.

Cincy isnt in that category. I was betting on a guy who was the greatest of all time and was committing on the fact that Ried was exposed in my book while capping the whole season last year.
In playoff games and mostly the Super Bowl there is enough reliable statistical info to make some decisions to find a better outcome.

There are going to be some things in this game that will show me where Im going to go, but because these 2 haven't played each other it makes for some advantages for the dog. But so many factors to look at will cause me to wait until I make my decision. Especially if there are going to be some COVID issues with this 2 week long pause.
As I noted in the other thread , 65% are on Cicny and 53% under the 48.5.
Its an indicator again of the public betting on the SU winning under dog.


The pats had Brady and since he left they are nothing now.
Burrows has a long way to go to be that predictable IMO.

Bengals SOS is 28. KC, 12.
Bengals played a weak schedule, as did Buffalo, and sure they beat KC at home but they were playing for their playoff lives, KC was not nearly as motivated.
Bengal won their division vs weak Pitt, Balty & Cleveland, all beat up injured teams with no offense.
KC won vs Chargers, Raiders, and a not too shabby Bronco team.
Cincy was very fortunate to win both playoff games... will be exposed Sunday.
