Philly had a bit of a clunker the other night in a 106-103 home loss to Washington as a decent-sized favorite. They've bounced back well of late, covering five in a row off a SU loss and eight in a row off a spread defeat. These teams are pretty equal in defensive efficiency but the Sixers are the much better offensive team and with Porzingis and Hardaway sidelined, Philly is also the better team on the defensive end. The Sixers had a rough time on the boards in the loss to Washington and they've seen that happen at times this season but it shouldn't be exploited by a Dallas team that is virtually equal to Philly on the glass - and again, short-handed inside. Buy-low spot on Harvard that are just 5-9 ATS including losing five-straight. This is also a revenge situation for the Crimson that lost 84-73 to Brown at home back in early January. In that game, Brown shot 51% from the field, including 58% from three-point range. Highly unlikely we see a repeat performance like that from the #225 ranked offensive. Interesting trend to note: visiting dogs that are sub .333 in both overall ATS and ATS as a visitor are 55% ATS for a +6.2% ROI. We should be getting Harvard's best effort tonight and think they win this one outright.

2-Unit Play. Take #888 Canisius (+12.5) over Iona (7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 4)
This is a high bar for Iona to scale on the road. This team really hasn't played that many road games, playing just five true road games since November break. They are 4-1 in those road games and the wins have come by an average of just 12 points. It's not that Iona can't blow Canisius out here - they absolutely can. I just think it is unlikely and I think the value is on the boat load of points.
2-Unit Play. Take #890 Fort Wayne (-5.5) over Milwaukee (7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 4)
Milwaukee has been in a free fall for some time. They haven't been competitive in their last few games and this season has gone off the rails in a big way. Fort Wayne is coming off back-to-back losses and needs to snap back. They have been a completely different team at home, going 6-1 in their last seven home games with five of the six wins coming by 10+ points, and I expect the Mastadons to continue that trend.
3-Unit Play. Take #892 Colorado State (-3) over San Diego State (9 p.m., Friday, Feb. 4)
The Rams are coming off back-to-back losses. I don't expect them to lose three in a row; not in their own gym. There's also the small matter of the Aztecs beating the piss out of Colorado State in the first meeting, humiliating the Rams in a 79-49 blowout. SDSU has only played four true road games all season long. They've lost three of them. I think the Rams come to play tonight.
