Lolz.

I AM talking about today's match, lol. Are you even reading what I am saying?

And do you not understand the definition of a choke? I'll break it down for you.

CHOKE: You are winning and leading and blow it. Or blowing it in a crucial moment to throw the match.

End of story. Wawa choked. Up a break and serving just two games to go up 2-1 sets... and chokes. And chokes at the business end of set.

This is very clear. Reading comprehension?

Fed up 2-1 on Raonic in Wimbledon. Serving *5-6 and up *40-0.... and gets broken to lose the set and then the match = CHOKE.

then we have a difference of opinion on what a 'choke is'. For you its about anytime someone breaks and then gets broken back. Its no wonder every single match is a 'choke' for you, lol.

good grief, can i get my 10 minutes back?....

Lol, you cannot get your 10 minutes back.

How you cannot understand -- or anyone for that matter -- what a choke is.... is beyond me.

When Fed was serving for the match against Nadal I think he went down 0-30 and he was disgusted with himself and he had a certain look on his face. And it is the same look on a player's face when they are up a break and serving.... and give it right back.

This is called "choking".

Fed limits his expression of emotions on the court. But watch him closely when he "chokes" when serving for a set.... or late in a set when up a break. This is b/c he knows he has choked away the lead and he is disgusted. It means you, as the player, have a specific advantage and are giving it back -- you are choking.

Do I need to show video clips of Fed talking about this? This is not rocket science.

Interestingly enough, if you are serious in your assessment, it is good insight into the mentality and dissociative reality of these retard French players... b/c they do not understand this concept. It just does not enter into their mind. The same with illegals. They do not understand on a most basic human level that they are breaking the law. They actually view themselves as the victims.... if you can actually believe it.

I am not calling you a retard. I am talking about not seeing what is in front of your eyes and not recognizing reality. You are a likeable guy.

But again, we will have to disagree.

I really think if Fed wins this match against Nadal, this will cement his legacy as no doubt better than Nadal in the history of it all. Not on clay, but overall. To beat Nadal on clay at the FO after everything that happened...

.... that would seal it, IMO.

Nadal is 23-15 against Federer, and you say if Federer beats Nadal in this one match he "cements his legacy as no doubt better than Nadal?"
Ridiculous.

Fed has won the last 4 meetings. Nadal has more to lose than Fed, here . Rafa has to win this. Fed to beat him on clay at 37 yrs of age? cmon

Neither one's legacy is on the line in one match. One of them could have a bad day, wake up feeling sick - have a (minor) injury that could swing the outcome.
Though being on clay, clearly Nadal has the edge.

a Fed win here and no doubt will reflect very well for Fed; to beat Nadal at Roland Garros at the twilight of his career? And to now beat him 5 matches in a row?

Nadal wants no part of that. Got to believe he's licking his chops, especially having lost 4 straight matches to Fed. Best of 5, of course, not 3. Nadal has lots of wiggle room .

and you were so quick to look for excuses , tends to happen when one's a fan.THREE of the matches were at the finals, one at a GS and two at Tennis Masters Series Events (elite fields). Nadal wasnt injured enough to not reach the finals? odd...rofl

If I remember right, Nadal has been fighting injuries during that time.

Injuries!?!? What injuries! Fed's last five victories in a row over Nadal came at the finals at Basel 2015. Nadal would go on to play the very next atp1000 tournament the Paris Master. Therefore he could not have been injured. Fed beat him at the Aussie final in 2017, Nadal would go on to play the very next atp1000 tournament Indian Wells. He also played a atp500 tourney before Indian Wells, therefore he could not have been injured. Fed beat him at Indian Wells in the round of 16. Nadal would play the very next atp1000 tourney in Miami, Fed would beat him again in the finals! Nadal would go on to play the very next atp1000 tourney in Monte Carlo. Therefore he could not been injured he didn't miss any tourneys. Fed would beat him at the 2017 Shanghai final and Nadal would on to play the very next atp1000 tourney the Paris Master. They met in the finals in 4 of the 5 matches and Nadal would go on to play the very next tourney! So how was he fighting injuries? Please do tell.

Its Nadal/Djokovich final. No questions asked.

Federer knows he cant beat Nadal on clay. He couldn't do it in his prime, surely he cant now

Nadal has been on a tear against an easy draw. Seems most sets are 6-2 or 6-3.

Don't think Djok is a lock. Remember, as great a player Djokovic is, he also has the "bitch factor" where he will go into bitch mode..... He did it against Roddick, he's done it against Nadal where he didn't care to play that day with 100% effort and focus.

I mean, Djok is superior to Nadal on all surfaces without a shadow of doubt ... except clay. And if Djok is there mentally, at this point in 2019 and beyond, he is the favorite on clay vs. Nadal.

I did watch the press conference of Federer after the Stan win. I saw defeatism. Sometimes Fed can be sly and coy, but I think he was genuine. The good news is that Fed cleared that mental hurdle with the AO win over Nadal. He has 5 straight wins over Nadal. If they play on HC or grass, I strongly favor Fed to win. The only other good news is that despite Nadal smashing people, he is not the same as in previous years. Before in the previous years in the clay season he would romp through almost all tourneys and win everything.... this year he got his butt kicked in all tourneys except one. This is a Nadal that is vulnerable. He has plays scrubs all tourney long and Nishikori is a joke against Nadal at the FO.

Fed can definitely take one set.... like I believe he did in 4 of their 5 FO matchups. I would consider it a victory if he grabs 2 sets. It's hard for me to imagine him winning. The recipe for him is clear -- he has to win the first set. If he loses the first, then the odds of him winning 2 of the next 3 sets..... got to be almost zero.

My hope is -- Fed comes out strong and secures a break and manages to hold on for the first set. Then Nadal will blast him in the second set. Now it's 1-1 sets and we go to the 3rd for the decider (the decider for Fed but not for Nadal).

That is what I want out of the match. All the marbles on the table in the 3rd set being tied at 1-1 sets. Even if Fed takes it and leads 2-1 sets, would be little doubt in my mind they go 5 sets.... unless Fed is in some kind of God mode.

I did a futures bet on Nadal to win the whole thing.

todays rain out helps. Now Novak would have to win 3 best of 5’s in 4 days

we haven’t see a #1 player be this big of a pussy with djokovich.. guy plays 2 or 3 days in a row and all of a sudden he is “ drained”. Dude you are 31 and a world class player. He acts like he is so “ exhausted” back when he was coming up he actually used his gluten bs made up allergy as a reason for Lisa g.
