Clown party is underway. Fog starts out 15-40 and holds.

Looks so much better than Zverev. Making him stretch on every damn point. This version of Fog should thrash that next gen dude..... but 5-set clownery incoming.

Took over 40 games in Del petro matro / Karen match

Del potro has won all 3 but they all have been on hard and somewhat close. Neither should win in straight sets

Saw an incredible comment on Fognini talking about how he is, at the end of the day, a loser tennis player. It is so true. He is just a clown. Why be a pro tennis player if you're going to be a fuckign clown? Makes zero sense.

And a lot of these other tennis players.... just spoiled quitting bitches.

What an absolute waste of talent. Better than Zverev by a mile.... has the ability to beat Nadal on clay..... can you imagine a Fognini fully committed and driven? Impossible to imagine. Would probably have to torture him.... but... what a waste.

No bigger joke on tour than Kyrgios, though.

Stanimal up a break in the 3rd. Not been broken all match. Winner of this set will win the match, IMO.

Pathetic choking by Stan. He was clearly the better player but the mind wavered... and when the mind goes, the game goes. Only needed two more holds after doing 15 holds in a row (I believe) .... and choked it all away.

Had Stan held, he would've sealed it in 4 sets.

Still an outside shot for Stan to take it in 5 sets, but it's a long shot. Been several matches Stan should've won vs Fed, but mentally he made himself lose. Nadal does that overwhelming to so many of these quitting bitches....

Missed the Nadal cap in my streak contest. Would've been an easy selection. 6-1, 6-1, 4-2 Nadal... Nishikori against the top players at the end of the big tournaments.... is joke city to the max. Throw in Nadal on clay.... Wholly predictable.

Rain delay for Stan. If Stanimal appears, still a chance. Plus the fact of no tiebreak in the 5th actually helps him.

The theme of the 2019 FO -- choke-ology.S

Stan completes his choke. 15 holds in a row and just needs two more to go up 2-1 sets... and chokes.

Serving at 4-4 late in 4th and chokes.... to give Fed the match 6-4.

Every round has seen massive choking this year. New record.

boy oh boy, Fed needs to convert those BP chances way way better goign forward. 2 of 18!! good grief.

was hoping Stan could take out Tsitsipas, dont think fed would beat him. Worked out perfect.....BUT, leaves a date with Nadal on clay. lol. Semi-final at Roland Garros at age 37, ...what a freak the dude is

lol, that was no choke. He had 5 break chances all match. And held a ridiculous 16 of 18 break points. What the hell is the matter with you?

Not sure what match you were watching.

If you ask Stan himself, he'll tell you he choked away the 3rd set and then the 4th. Both at critical times.

14 holds in a row.... and then mentally AWOL in the most crucial time. Definition of a choke when just a few meters from the finish line in the 3rd set.

Then at the business end of the 4th set at 4-4... hard to choke at a more important moment.

Really, once Stan got broken... the match was over. Stanimal disappeared and it was over. If he holds and wins the 3rd set, then he would've won.

okay, he held 16 of 18 break chances and yet 'choked' the match. If Fed wins 30% of those its a rout. Anyway, bye bye Stan

Wonder if this version of Fed will stand a chance.

Mentally he has thrown matches against Rafa on clay.... b/c the pressure cracked him.

But the 2016 AO hopefully was a turning point. Because he overcame the Nadal demon.... and then beat him about 7 times in a row. Something like that.

O/c, this is clay. But this is a distinctly different Federer.

I really think if Fed wins this match against Nadal, this will cement his legacy as no doubt better than Nadal in the history of it all. Not on clay, but overall. To beat Nadal on clay at the FO after everything that happened...

.... that would seal it, IMO.

Chances are low... unless 90% first serve. Let's see what the bookies price it at.

And when Fed had 28 BP's against Nadal and lost in 3 or 4 set against Nadal on clay.... lolz. Come on.

If a team is up by 6 points with 50 seconds and they lose -- CHOKE. Period.

Serving up a break at the business end of a set.... and lose? -- CHOKE.

Serving at the business end of a set and crumbles? -- CHOKE

Nadal NEEDS to win this, no doubt. Altho he hasnt been the Nadal of old during this clay court season, i cant see him losing this match.

Fed needs to take the ball on serve real early, and go for shots. He aint winning a battle from the baseline Vs Nadal on clay: Understatement of The Year

lol, we are talking about THIS match. Stan lost to the better player today. He's fortunate , it wasnt Nole or Nadal with all those break points he had to defend as he'd lose in straights. EASY.

Fed was aggressive today, he'll need 'reckless aggresiveness Vs Nadal'

That does not make sense. You're saying Fed had all those BP's. If he converts, then Fed dominates. Just like when Fed had all those BP's (maybe nearly 30 against Nadal) and he lost. If he converts, then he smokes Nadal... right?

My points on choking are irrefutable. Same with Fed vs. Raonic when he went on a choke-athon. I'm a huge fan of Fed -- as I believe you are -- but a choke is a choke. Stan knows he choked, Fed knows Stan choked.... it's just the facts.

Fed admits after a match when there is a choke. When Coric choked vs Fed in Rome, Fed said he was lucky... just as he was lucky against Meyer in China. Chokes are chokes. Fed knows it better than anyone.

Did Fed play great today? Absolutely.

Just hoping somehow there is a surprise vs Nadal.. b/c if he wins, I believe he can win the whole thing.
