Yes in Oregon. Haven't got to Bandon Dunes yet. Don't get to the beach as much as I should Planning on it at some point. Alot of good courses here every where here , even locally . Weather sucks from Nov-thru January. Just got to the range for the first time last week.
have u followed Phil Mickelson's recent comments? firstly calling the PGA Tour out as having 'obnoxious greed'. Then a week later doubles down talking about the Saudi proposed Super League. He is getting roasted at golf wrx forum. Callaway golf has to be cringing.

"They're scary motherf***ers to get involved with," Mickelson allegedly said.

"We know they killed [Washington Post reporter and U.S. resident Jamal] Khashoggi and have a horrible record on human rights.

"They execute people over there for being gay. Knowing all of this, why would I even consider it? Because this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reshape how the PGA Tour operates.

"They've been able to get by with manipulative, coercive, strong-arm tactics because we, the players, had no recourse.

"As nice a guy as [PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan] comes across as, unless you have leverage, he won't do what's right.

"And the Saudi money has finally given us that leverage. I'm not sure I even want [the SGL] to succeed, but just the idea of it is allowing us to get things done with the [PGA] Tour."

Canada arrested two of the Freedom Convoy leaders.

In other news, BLM leaders are still buying mansions with donated funds

agreed. in their early days, i was a big Phil fan and disliked Tiger . As they have aged reversed, respect the matured Woods.

Phil has done and does a lot for charity. Unfortunately, think he has done irreparable damage to his image. Comes across as very greedy. Payback maybe no Ryder Cup captaincy.

Coming off a major win this past year , riding high off that , pretty much has the elder statesmen of the tour for past few years.... but not enough money still ?

This more than a head scratcher..

Red, the thread at golf wrx is now 53 pages deep..wont end , lol. here are just a few. Got a hunch the hecklers will be out at his next tourney...

The more I think about this, the more I simply cannot fathom how resoundingly stupid and selfish Mickelson is in all of this.

Looking to the world outside of golf, everything is becoming more expensive. Inflation and the cost of living is increasing. Whether it’s to fill up the car, heat a home or buy food everything is being pinched. Sure some might not feel the pinch as much as others but it’s there. To have a someone estimated to be worth $400 million and taking home $50 million a year essentially tell us that he is not making enough money…that is beyond tone deaf. That is someone so absorbed in his own self importance that we need to come up with a new word because good old fashioned narcissism doesn’t even come close.

Inside of the golf world, I cannot accept that Phil is doing this for anyone other than himself. I am sure that there is a point that those further down the ladder or young guys coming onto Tour have it quite tough. I am not sure how it can be painted that Phil is trying to look out for them. Look at what he said. This is all about him trying to rinse everything that he can out of Tour that has provided him a lifestyle beyond the comprehension of all but 0.000001% of the world.

I’d always kind of been willing to give Phil a pass, the ready smile and being a good guy with the crowds helped diffuse the more out there comments and thoughts that he had before now. For me, that pass has been revoked. He can go and rub himself up to Saudi’s and Greg Norman as much as he wants. Goodness knows, with the amount of missed cuts he has had the last year, he has plenty of time on his hands to do just that.

Tone deaf. Selfish. Self absorbed. However you want to put it.

No one wants to hear about billionaires arguing with hundred millionaires arguing with millionaires about making more money.

Best of luck Phil. But please take Bryson with you on your way out the door.

"Obnoxious Greed"....I stopped there and need not read further.

Can't argue with anything you posted.. hard to ignore even for me being a big Phil guy.. public doesn't like these quarrels, not to forget leveraging it with the Saudis ? Baseball fighting over $$$$$$$$$$$ again. Phil should've looked at these sports leagues strikes , and what a turnoff it is for the fans that support the sport
