'Police are ramping up their operations in Ottawa, making arrests and squaring off with the protesters who have been encamped in the downtown core for weeks.

This action comes after police earlier issued multiple warnings for the protesters to leave the area or face criminal charges.

Key organizers have been arrested, and police have created a hardened zone in the downtown core, with Ottawa police and federal officials indicating that this weekend will not look like the last three weekends of disruptive protests in the nation's capital.'

only in Canada do they give out flyer warnings, lol. They were giving flyers out!! true story......... Mugs r toast. let the criminal and civil proceedings begin

Ottawa police arrest over 100 people as officers move to clear convoy protest

An RV that was blocking Sussex northbound, which had 'Hold the Line' written on it, was towed away. The driver was pulled out of the vehicle and arrested.

lol

(mayor) Watson called the protest the most serious situation the city has faced in its history.

“It's gone on too long, but I'm very, very pleased we're starting to see some decisive action and arrests being made. People are going to be held accountable."

...........

Our Charter allows for peaceful protests, this was way way beyond that. Finally for citizens in Ottawa soon to be done. Accountability you say Mr Watson? yeah-- ford and trudeau need to be included in said investigation . And those 'protestors' gotta be grateful its Canada, other regions of the world would not have been so kind to such civil disobedience for so long .

Yes in Oregon. Haven't got to Bandon Dunes yet. Don't get to the beach as much as I should Planning on it at some point. Alot of good courses here every where here , even locally . Weather sucks from Nov-thru January. Just got to the range for the first time last week.
