Looks like Shawn Michael super kick.

A Black hockey player performed a Shawn-Michaels-style superkick on a White player, slicing his throat and killing him.
According to the media, not only was this a “freak accident,” but the real victim is - of course - the Black player, because he's getting mean tweets for killing a guy.
Watch the video. You don't need to be an experienced hockey player or fan to see the deliberate nature of what took place. There was no prior “collision” that caused the Black player, Matt Petgrave, to launch his skate so high that it sliced Adam Johnson's throat. There was nothing more than glancing contact with Johnson's teammate before Petgrave - who had the league's most penalty minutes last season - threw a literal superkick at Johnson.
I'm not suggesting that Matt Petgrave's intention was to kill Adam Johnson - but I am suggesting that it's easier to avoiding killing people by notsuperkicking them in the throat while wearing hockey skates.
And beyond suggesting - I am stating as fact that the media is in a desperate scramble to excuse what Matt Petgrave did because he's Black - and because his victim is White.
If Matt Petgrave was White, there would be no protective cocoon of media fiends defending his honor. And refusing to show the video. And, as we see here, making him the victim in spite of what he's done.
In a media landscape where reality is not allowed, there can be no such thing as a White victim or a Black perpetrator.

He should be charged

He already had a history and he intended to cause arm

No different than when you beat someone up or shoot them out of anger and they die

'From the unique perspective of someone who has played a lot of hockey and watched even more, who also happens to be a Taekwondo instructor, I can tell you the chances of this being an accident are less than 1% for sure. I say that because of the body mechanics just prior to contact and the fact that he never lost balance until after the kick landed. He extended his leg with perfect timing to transfer maximum force and even kicked him a second time in the back of the head. There was nothing about his posture, momentum or direction that would indicate that his leg spontaneously went high for any reason. He probably intended to kick him in the shoulder or chest where there is padding and ended up kicking him in the neck. But either way, it was reckless and well out of bounds of the rules and expectations of the game. He knew how sharp skates are and should have known the risk of what he did. But he displayed a blatant disregard for his opponent's safety. Easily manslaughter and arguably 2nd degree murder.'

Terrible situation and this guys take makes a lot of sense. Manslaughter might even be a stretch in reality but who knows these days. Obvious lifetime ban and monetary fines are in order.
