Oh come on...do you want to go into wacko land?

Obama isn't fit to be Prez because he thinks there are 58 states ect?

The election is over...so is silly season.
Big difference between Obama's comment about visiting "58 states", and Palin not being able to name a Supreme Court case, and you know it.

Don't dodge the question. If these stories are true, as a conservative, how do you feel about Palin? Just an honest question.

If these stories are true, it won't change MMJ's desire to bang Palin if given the chance and were it not for MrsMJ

IOW, he's staying very consistent with pre-election proclamations.

NBC now has a terrible and earned reputation for being in the tank for Obama.

They better name sources and make it real...or I could care less. They don't have the rep anymore to just believe at face value...in my opinion.

The guy on NBC is writing the article for Newsweek... pretty solid publication. He was saying stuff this morning on Tv about various things going on behind the scenes in for the Obama, McCain and Clinton campaigns.

McCain choice of Palin was his first major decision and it was a disaster. The election this year was the Democrats to lose based not on John McCain but because of the Bush administration. Even with that said McCain probably had a reasonable chance to win until the last 60 days when the major issue became the economy. He lost it right there. His best chance was to upset the apple cart and not voted for the $700 billion bailout.

Another major factor that probably hurt him was his age. While watching the elections on Tuesday they quoted a stat that I still find extremely hard to believe: 2/3 of the voter this year were age 30 or under. That age group probably relates better to a younger person than a 72 year old. One of the major issues for the republican party going forward is the lack of that younger group. Historically younger people tend to be more liberal...they become more conservative during their middle years and as they age become more liberal in their later years again. If voting demographic becomes dominated by the younger generation..the republicans are going to need to change and embrace that group and their needs.

It's impossible for either 2/3 of "the voters", or even 2/3 of the Obama voters to have been 30 yrs or less in age.

That would translate into either 80 million or 45 million.

I'm willing to bet that you did hear a "2/3" stat and it was referring to New Voters or "First Time" Voters

I meant to look it upp because it seemed so unreal.....my guess is this is what they said:

Other exit polls are reporting that one in 10 voters said they were voting this year for the first time, and six in 10 of those voters were under age 30. Overall, about one in seven voters were younger than 30, representing 18 percent of the voters in today’s election — a one-percent increase from the last three elections

I'm not dodging the question because I really don't know that Palin said that...or the context of it.

But to suggest that Palin is stupid is really just plain stupid.

She has executive experience running a state. Period.

What she did in Alaska to become govenor didn't just happen by itself...it was quite remarkable.

Is she polished on the national scene? No.

For conservatives its about principles.

Obama could have been caught in the same type of gotcha situations...but the media didn't go there.

I don't think Newsweek is very solid anymore...but thats just opinion.

Regardless...any story like this without sources is highly suspect.

They need to name sources for it to be a "real" story...and they need Palin's version of it.

I especially love the fact about how nobody takes credit for their words. Why is that?

If anybody in the world gets divorced, I assure you the spouse can say stuff, often out of context or just partially true, that can make the other spouse look foolish. This is true in every walk of life.

I'm certain mistakes were made by Palin, just has they have been made by every person, every organization, every politician and every candidate for President or Vice-President or Elected office in every country the world throughout the history of man.

The difference here may be that some idiot is being classless, and that doesn't mean such person is being truthful.

We need more balance in life, and more rational people. This is the type of stupid thinking that enables enablers to mold public opinion. Just get in line boys.
