No the Italian team will. I believe the second spot in their diffficult grouip will be between the U.S and the Italaians, with the U.S prevailing. If I am wrong and they make it out of the group I still do not believe they are good enough to reach the 1/4's.

The squad is too old and has been average at best for many years.
Totti though I believe he will play will be ineffective.
The Italian team will drop points against both the U.S (score draw) and Ghana (0-0). I really don't see them beating the Czech's, who really should be the top seed in this group.

There's too many other issues going on in camp right now; at least Totti has a couple of weeks to improve on his form.
-Toni's dealing with Fiorentina's announcement on Tuesday,that they're not going to up his contract.
- Lippi being put through the mill due to the scandal.
-Cannavaro's house being raided by police.He's now being asked if he'd like to give up the Captaincy...and if he would mind playing in Serie B in the Fall,should Juve be stripped of their scudettos.
-De Rossi got married a few day's ago.lol
-Totti pissed at Pippo for not joining Roma this coming season.
-Buffon's having to leave practice, because he was summoned to go to Parma and answer questions regarding gambling acqusations.
-Juve players on the Azzurri wondering who's next in line for president of the club.(Dino Zoff is one of the front runners)
