I should huh lol.

Dear Enfuego,

I am about to graduate with a masters degree from an SEC school. The problem is that my girlfriend of 22 months went home for spring break and her parents refused for her to come back to campus b/c of the corona virus. I have not seen her in 6 weeks and i dont know what to do. I have a 75k offer from a firm in Atlanta and i figure that being a 24 year old good looking male in Atlanta making a good salary should be single anyways as i think i would be able to hook up alot. I love the girl, i see a future with her, but it bothers me that I havent seen her and she listens to her parents more than i do.

Thank you,

PS: I love you on LOCK it up. You are 10000x better than Cousin Sal!!!

I think it is Dear Clay Travis... As soon as Enfuego finds out what C. Travis take on the radio or tweets, he brings it in here as his take.

A good question would be why would he underestimate it?

Lack of analysis? Cognitive bias? Led astray?

Why do people get obvious things wrong? The fed started cutting rates on March 3rd, the market started pricing this in on Feb 26th.

Anyone who thinks these types of serious actions with long-term ramifications are just taken because of "media hysteria" needs a good lesson in how the world works.

Happening all over the US although I agree, this case I cited is very extreme to prove the point.

That is a lie.

"Hot Takes" hahahahahaah

Cant wait until Enfuego does a mailbag. Viewers, please PM Enfuego a question he will do a thread with your emails.

Comedy gold!!!

Probably 90% of the guys that post here routinely felt the same about this situation as I did. My opinions on the situation weren’t crazy. Some took them as hot takes. It’s all good.

Then it turned into calling me dumb and a liar. That’s what happens when some of these guys disagree.

Could be wrong but the Fed didn't act because of media hysteria .. The Fed acted after the economy started going south.. And the economy went south partly because of the media's hysteria associated with the hyped up death rates and the overall fear associated with the Chinese virus. At least that's the way I understand it

But we also know the media and their hysteria drives people to make irrational decisions. Happens all the time.

Feb 26th and March 3rd are long before any domestic lockdowns were happening.

The reaction is because this was a big deal, not something that would be over in a month.

The writing was on the wall for anyone that wanted to read it.

"NBA world mourns the death of Karl-Anthony Towns' mother due to coronavirus

The NBA world learned devastating news on Monday as the mother of Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns, Jacqueline Cruz, died after a month-long battle with COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.
Back in March, Towns announced in social media videos that his mother was placed in a medically induced coma following a positive coronavirus diagnosis. His father was also quarantined for COVID-19 symptoms.

(1) A good question would be why would he underestimate it?

Lack of analysis? Cognitive bias? Led astray?

(2) Why do people get obvious things wrong? The fed started cutting rates on March 3rd, the market started pricing this in on Feb 26th.

(3) Anyone who thinks these types of serious actions with long-term ramifications are just taken because of "media hysteria" needs a good lesson in how the world works.

(1) A lot of people overestimated and underestimated. It is extremely difficult to project something like this. Did you estimate it properly? Enfuego underestimated. Lot of people made far far worse predictions than him and underestimated. Trump didnt take it seriously at all, which was stupid on his part. People were off both sides. How can some predict the effect on something like this. So dumb to try when you can wait until the end
(2) Obvious? Again how is predicting a novel virus obvious? It wasnt for the fed either.
(3) Did he say the actions were taken cuz of "media hysteria"? If he did then hes wrong, but i dont think he did. He said the media overblew it, which most people would say is accurate.
