I was at a football game last nite where 2 players did not stand for the anthem. I didnt even know until the media brought it up.
I'm actually surprised the players didnt stay in the tunnel during the anthem.

Agreed that this is harming their product as people dont want to watch football anymore (i wonder what percent of people "quitting" football actually wager on NFL football or are in NFL football pools? I'd say its a very very low percentage).
Place was crazy empty but preseason games are always empty in miami. Didnt help that it was a thursday nite either. I'm certain that you'll have a better attendance for their next home game which is the 3rd preseason game on a sat nite
Ratings will be down this season but i am certain that Sunday nite football and Thursday nite football will still be the top shows watched every week.
I frankly do not care if they stand or not. Like I said, when the game starts and finishes....that’s what I care about, what happens in between that time frame. I honestly can’t believe we are still talking about this two years later. Regardless of if you support it or hate it...they have brought awareness and we are still talking about it.
