for all the topics i wish trump would keep his mouth shut on i dont mind him talking about this one. you can say its not offensive to the military, to me it is. if more people protest when the president speaks then its clearly about a protest of him and not just police injustice towards minorities. so clearly the protesters arent all protesting for the same reason. to me its simple. we have military serving away from family at every corner of the world. if they get the opportunity to watch an NFL game while serving i think that it would be an insult to them to watch people protesting during the anthem, while they stand in salute across the world on foreign soil. say its not about insulting them, well the anthem and flag are more symbolic of our military than they are about our police department (one could argue).

ill still watch the nfl but only on the local networks or on games. to me its not worth the 400 bucks for the package. its not a redneck protest either, i lost networks that run re-runs of seinfeld and friends also so ive lost some white people shows too lol

Trump didn't start this issue. It predates him and I canceled the NFL ticket before he started up with the league. You guys can keep denying it but ratings will continue to decline. 5 percent here 10 percent there will add up. I dont miss it and I won't watch 1 second of it. Take a look at the hof game ratings, down 18%. Ouch.

A couple bars did this around me last year, they weren’t popular places to begin with, but one was out of business before the Super Bowl and the other is still hanging on, but lost/let go about half their staff. Only people that got screwed were their employees.

I get it if someone wants to make the personal decision to not watch any more, but for a bar it’s just dumb. People who already weren’t watching are going to continue to not watch and those already watching will continue to do so and your crowd for games will just move onto to next spot.
