Oh okay so what are the Bengals going to do in the offseason?

You’ve praised their front office (which is lol), so what do you think happens?

Browning has been nice but he has clear limitations. Can’t throw deep, has gotten away with some bad throws in 2/3 games and got most of his yardage on screen passes. Colts have a very bad pass defense, Burrow may have hit 300 in the first half

Not to mention a horrible pick 6 that kept Colts in the game
Not aware of his arm! Hope others are in the dark also…. LOL

15-20 yards is working with the screens and Defense! Ideal Saturday Bengals than Wildcats 🍻

I think a lot of teams will be rethinking their backup qb position. I can't recall a season with so many qb injuries. Makes capping a bit harder, less data at this level. Sure like Cin this week.

They didn’t need to spend 275 mil on a quarter back that can’t stay healthy.

Like Brownings energy way better than Joe.

Browning: 29/42 - 324 YDS - 2 TDs - 1 INT

It won't happen (obviously), but they should trade JoeyB for a motherlode.

JoeyB never does anything spectacular on the field.

He's "accurate" and "efficient" but Browning is already proving why that is.

Not really sure what game you’re watching

The Bengals would’ve probably run away with that game if Burrow was playing

I like Browning. I really do. But his limitations are glaringly obvious

He can’t throw the deep ball to save his life. Missed a walk in touchdown that Burrow hits 99% of the time. His arm strength just isn’t there — ball floats too often and he’s gotten away with it thankfully.

He has good touch on the ball, but his ball placement isn’t great. Throws the ball too high or low very often — reminds me of Jimmy G. The pass gets completed because of good receiving play, but gives his guys no chance to make a play up field.

Some questionable decisions. Bad sacks when he has so much time, intentional grounding, and an awful interception trying to throw the ball to Irv Smith Jr.

Even that TD to Higgins — that was an AWFUL lame duck throw. He shouldn’t have even had to make that play.

That all said I love Browning’s intangibles and confidence — he carries himself similar to Burrow that way. You want that in your backup. He’s a gamer

But I mean even guys here were calling for McCaron midway through the game.

Burrow never does anything spectacular?

Guy is the most accurate thrower in the NFL. Can thread the needle like no other

He also moves within the pocket better than any QB in the league. He is absolutely textbook in that regard

He doesn’t run like an Allen or Mahomes, but that doesn’t take away from his QB ability in the slightest. Burrow himself is a great athlete

He's "accurate" because of who is catching the ball.

Stick him on a middle tier team and he's average at best.

The swagger and arrogance from this kid, which apparently has seduced you, was never justified.

Joe Burrow:

2,309 YDS
15 TDs
6 INT
QBR: 52.3

Jake Browning:

1,248 YDS
7 TDs
3 INTs
QBR: 59.6

This is actually quite funny.

Comparing counting stats is very disengenuous, especially over a short sample size

Burrow also playing clearly hurt first quarter of the year, convenient to leave that out huh lol

We should use this logic to say Browning > Allen and Mahomes too :)

You don't watch the games

Watch Burrow and Browning throw the ball on a similar 20 yard route.

Burrow very often hits the guy in stride/gives him chance to make play up the field, gets the ball there quickly

Browning completes the pass, but ball usually high/low or behind and ball floats more. Very Jimmy G like, who also has solid counting stats
