In a game that averages just over 2 goals per game, it is amazing to me they don't allow lose offsides to play on (they do) and then check on a replay.

A horrible call prevented Bosnia from advancing. There were like 10 terrible calls in this tourney.

Or put a chip in the ball and the players shoes and a computer can call offsides.

Also don't know how they don't check penalties for clear dives on a replay. Sometimes the ref is 50 yards away.

can you imagine a world series game or any playoff game in baseball that goes into extra innings and they decide the game with a home run derby?
can you imagine a stanley cup playoff game going into OT and deciding it on a shootout?
Superbowl tied 30-30 after 15 minutes of OT and then the champions are decided by a field goal kicking contest?
NBA championship tied after OT, so lets decide the winner by doing a free throw contest!

Yes it should be sudden death............They got a bunch of players to substitute if need be.....Furthermore, if they play 200 minutes and nobody has scored then neither team is that good anyway with zero magic created so who cares if they are tired for the next match...

Anyway, Brasil just couldn't finish and nearly blew it. Possession time, shots, quality of chances all in brasi's favor better team won. Chile playing for penalties in extra time. Reap what u sow .
