When what you have is more than one person fishing in a polluted pond, and they're padding themselves on the back telling each other how right they are, I can't think of a more appropriate description.

And I do find such behavior repulsive, so I define it using repulsive terms.

Alright, I'm perfectly willing to 'agree to disagree.' For example, the description above sounds exactly like Fox news to me. Or MSNBC, for that matter.

It wasn't the 'repulsive' words that I was objecting to, by the way. Just the constant usage, as if your brain could think of nothing else.
