Can we make this thread less about the Patriots' allegations and more about those against the Cardinals?

I would not trade the Cubs future for anyone's right now .
They are about where the Pats were when Bledsoe went down.
I'll make a prediction about this. Even if where there is smoke there is fire it just won't become a big story. Baseball doesn't really crossover and become big national discussion anymore.
If this were the Red Sox or Yankees and they were having success then people would care. Some Cubs, Giants, Brewers fans might care but in general I don't see it resonating too heavily.

I already explained why those words were used. It wasn't to take a sly jab or strike up this tired ass conversation. It was because this sounded like something the Patriots would do.
I would apologize for the fact that other people (aka "haters") equate the Patriots to cheating on sports, but it's not my fault. It's the fault of the organization you idolize and the shady shit they have done, so you're just gonna have to ignore it or deal with it. Or argue against it til you're blue in the face, but no one else is really hearin' it so you're wasting your breath. Apparently this is the path you've chosen. Keep fightin' the good fight. You're so persecuted, your boys are so hated, your organization so misrepresented. Oh the injustice.
Yes we need to do "something", just not something like this. The something I'd rather do is develop the #1 farm system in MLB and build a contender and eventually a dynasty. Most in baseball would agree that's the path the Cubs are on.
And I wasn't bashing the Cardinals for anything they have done on the field. They are a benchmark of on-the-field achievement. It's just an ironic story cause every announcer and Cardinal fan in the world will scream from the highest mountaintop that they do it "the right way". And now this.
That's what makes the story humorous to those of us that follow the NL Central closely and personally know many many Cardinals fans.
PS I have nothing against the Patriots, they are one of my favorite teams to bet on. They get it done on the field, period, and most Sundays I find myself rooting for them. This past SB was one of the biggest wagers I have made so far this year and it was on NE.
So I don't think it's fair to dismiss my comments as "hating". I'm just providing you with an accurate non-Patriot viewpoint. I know it makes you mad that this is how others view your NFL team, because maybe it's a little unwarranted or whatever. Truth be told I don't really care about the exact details of all that shit, I believe where there is smoke there's fire. And I believe the fact that you don't even need to cheat to win makes it even dumber that y'all do what you (allegedly) do.
