Early "MNF" Update:


Damn NO blows a chance for the 2nd HF Cover...when Horn loses the ball as he stretched for the goal line...Shit!...Disappointing Loss, as we had many chances to hit this one! :finger:


Dallas though is getting it done so far in the 2nd Hf as Bledsoe hits a Bomb to Glenn...and dont forget Gang, in games like these (defensive battle) never overlook the Special teams play...Dallas already missed a FG in the 1st HF...but what was more important was that their Punter McBrair is punting very good tonight (45 ypk avg, 2 inside the 20)...Whereas Washington's Punter Groom (only 36 ypk in the 1st half..and 1st punt of the 2nd HF gave Dallas another short field which led to a TD) is not....Field Position is so important in games like this...and even moreso important for a Washington team, whos offense is simply struggling.... Go Dallas!

Clemson -3 +100 (2nd Hf)



-A very good sign for the Tigers is that their running game has gotten on track as they now (not counting Whitehurst) has rushed for 88 yards on 12 carries for 7.3 ypc on BC's stingy run defense...This is very important as that will definately open up that generous secondary of BC (gives up 238.3 ypg through the air)...QB Whitehurst has gone 10-15 for 51 yards so far..but that should change because of the running success they established...This year Whitehurst is hitting 65.2% of his passes with only one int, so I expect him to definately improve on that 51 first half total passing yards....

BC running game has seemed to slow down as they rushed for 71 yards on 17 carries for 4.2 ypr....and this tells me that one them "Big Uglies" are getting tired trying to block all that SPEED Clemson has and also that Clemson has finally realized that to beat the Eagles, you need to stop their running game and make their yound QB, making only his 2nd start, to try and beat them through the air....So far, he has done a good job going 12 of 18 for 100 yards...but he has thrown 1 costly interception.....I expect more from him as Clemson will bring the Blitz on obvious passing situations.... GO TIGERS!

-If Wisky had that devastaing NFL Defensive Line back this year...or even their talented RB Davis for this one...then I would definately side with the Badgers at home...But with Wisky having to relies on QB John Stocco on offense....he is not a match for Michigan's balanced offensive attack led by QB Henne...And that should be more than enough to get this one done on the Road and in their opener where they havent lost one since Moses parted the Red Sea..or something like that...LOL....Gotta go with the Wolverines today!

Hawaii -1....................................................................................... comp play


-I know the stats on the road, for this my team from the islands is bad...but I feel they will be able to get it done vs a team who the Warriors have dominated in the past....They are 4-1 vs the Vandals the past 5 games played against them..

The Warriors are also coming off of two ass spankings by USC and Mich St...however, I seen some positives from this offense that I like...For one, the new QB Brennan is hitting 70% of his passes and has 3 TDs and only 1 int vs USC and Mich St Defense and that is a positive in my book...Another thing I like here is that this game will be played in a climate controlled Dome at Idaho and also on turf...which is the surface the Warriors many small scat backs can use to their advantage...The Warriors are coming off of a two week rest, so they should be more than ready and prepared to start their conference play today...

One thing you have to remember, and which I know played a big part in the past when Hawaii's offensive skilled players, were seemingly sleep walking in games played on the mainland, is the fact that almost all of them were local boys from the islands, who never before took long trips like that when they flew to the mainland and off of the island...For most it was their first ever trip off the islands and that seriously caused big time fatigue and affected their performance....However, today's Warriors are made up of boys from all over the mainland, as far away as, New Jersey....so they should be more equipped to handle the mainland trip and time they have to spend their before, during, and till the game ends...I noticed a difference watching the Mich St game....and I think they will show today that they can handle playing on the road...

Some stats of interest...Do you think that the Warriors will score 20 or 30 or even 40 pts on the Vandals today....Check these stats out..

-Hawaii is 35-12 when scoring 20 or more points...Idaho is just 9-22.

-Hawaii is 34-3 when scoring 30 or more points....Idaho is just 7-7 when putting up 30 or more...

-And, Hawaii is 22-0 when scoring 40 or more points.

Today, I feel the Warriors will be able to put up enough points on this Vandal team who is allowing 35.3 ppg and 200 yards on the ground and through the air as well...

Lastly, with 2 weeks off and two former NFL Head coaches in Glanville and Jones in charge of gameplanning...they better be able to beat an Idaho team ranked in the preseason at #108 out of 119 Div 1A teams.... Go Warriors!

-Just a heads up to you....Hawaii's offense because of all the new personal is a ball control offense...QB Brennan is hitting 70% of his passes because they are short under, safe routes....so I wouldnt automatically play Hawaii games Over if if it's high like in the 60-70...So far in the 1st half, Idaho has barely 100 yards on offense so far...As I mentioned this one is played in a climate controlled Dome and also on turf..and Hawaii will be able to use their speed on defense to outplay the Vandals and on offense they should continue to eat clock up with the draws and short passing game..... Go Warriors!

Hawaii's Short Passes, Short Passes Short Passes....is eating up alot of clock...Ball control game for Hawaii, cause the Warriors really dont have anyone to stretch the field for them....Poor Offensive game by Idaho period....Did you know that the Vandals running game is worst than the Warriors...only averaged 60.7 ypg....whereas Hawaii averages 91.5 ypg on the ground...To beat Hawaii you gotta be able to run it down their throats first and foremost...Vandals cant do that..

So far the Vandals running game is averaging 2 ypc...LOL.




Hawaii 17-0 with 1:00 left in the 3rd Q.....PERFECT!

Damn it was a very long day today...but we grinded out a small profit overall, when it was all said and done...Still though, the day could of been better if not for some games that were a few plays and a few minutes away from cashing the tickets for all of us...Very disappointing losses in OT, as well as, in the ending minutes of of several games today....ie, Michigan, Clemson, CMich, and BYU...WTF!...The Intangibles also showed up to hurt us as well, as a WF fumble is run back for a TD...and NM's punt attempt is blocked for a TD....Damnit!....Still though, we were in all these games till the last second ran out..and that is sometimes all you can hope for...Battle to the end!



-Anyways...tomorrow is "Showtime Sunday" and that means NFL action Baby....The first Two Weeks in the NFL I have Won an overall:+16.55 Units with all my NFL Plays combined....Also, my Top Rated & Higher Plays ib the NFL continued to remain Smokin Hot as I currently posted a 12W-4L-1P= +24.80 Units (75%) record...Solid!

-I am going with Farve at Home as TB has not sold me just yet...Last season they finished 5-11 (last place) and was just 1-7 ATS on the Road as well...The Bucs also has not covered the number in their last 7 games as a Road Fav and they have not won in GB in their last 11 tries..

Their offense is more dependant on their Rookie RB Williams who is avg 5.4 ypr so far this year...however, he will have to go up against a solid Packer ground stuffing unit that has only allowed opponents to average 2.9 ypr so far this year...and they also has not given up a rushing TD yet as well...

One thing about Farve is that you can count on him to give it his all and more importantly, he wont get rattled as other QBs do, when facing TB's type of pressure defense...Last week, the Bucs were able to rattle the Bills Loshman and that was the difference...However, today that wont work against Farve at all....Another thing I like is that, eventhough the running game has been lacking and Farve is without his top WR...he still finds ways to spread it around and also to put up solid numbers....All he needs now is to keep that int ratio down...I feel he can...

Today, I look for the Packers to get back on track and if they need motivation, then surely being installed as an underdog at Home vs a team who they is only 4-15 lifetime against them..must surely not be sitting well...Everyone believes the Pack are done, but for me...as long as number 4 is takin the snaps and your giving me points at Lambeau, I take it everyday of the week....BTW, the Packers has only been underdog at Lambeau 3 times before...and they have won all 3 of those games... Go Packers!
