Fasting? Have you ever tried? What’s the longest you’ve gone without food?

Shub, I have a question on the water.. I have been using water from A Berkey for the last 3 months. It has no taste, which is good. Is that the same as buying jugs of distilled water? I want to try a 2 day fast to see how it goes.
Thanks for any info!

If I’m correct, Berkey is a water purification system. Not sure how that system works. You can buy small distiller for home. You will have to check the ppm for the Berkey. If it’s using a filter is probably coming at 200-400 ppm. I could be wrong. Distilled comes in at 1-3 ppm. Parts per million solids.

I don't want to spend any more money...(It was $185 and is supposed to purify for 2 years.). Then you have to buy new posts is what I call the things. That's based on using 2 full gallons a day, which I don't use that much. I got it to help with my chronic kidney disease for which there is no cure, but doctor says my numbers should keep me away from dialysis until age 100 based on the progression.. Then he said there is no medical guarantee of that).. I can't do long term fasting, but 1 to 3 days seems reasonable and was recommended in a book I read, for which I've forgotten the title.

1-3 days is fine, better than nothing at all. I’m trying to get rid of all theses toxins that have built up over time. Imagine when you cook and shit gets stuck to pan, well that same shot sticks your colon. Can cause all types of problems. Only way to truly detox is a long fast. Glad you’re doing better, best of luck.

Are they of high content in regular water or found where..... I was drinking bottled water (like a dummy ) for a long time until the kidney book I read suggesed to use only a purifier and STOP bottled water of ANY type.

The things we think will kill us rarely do it seems... No-one in my family has ever had kidney problems..

Yes, among other crap. You get a ppm meter and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Distilled water also gets rid of all that stuff lingering in your system. If you have time go on YouTube and look up dr Robert Morse - kidney

That's a good approach, for many no doubt... I think there can be more than one solution....

For instance I hope Shub will see this and comment... The book I read was How to avoid Dialysis....and one thing mentioned by the author was do this: First thing in the morning and last thing at night:

Take 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder and mix it with 5 ounces of water... He said disease of the kidney will improve... I can't say it improved, but my personal numbers didn't get worse by doing it...

So much about the human body isn't fully understood yet..... For me Chronic Kidney disease was a real WAkE UP CALL...

Thanks for the videos!

You’re welcome. I’m always checking my kidneys. They filter 90% of your toxins. I pee in a jar and examine it. It should be yellow and filled with sediment. Somewhat like a snow globe. That means your kidneys are filtering. If it’s clear that’s not a good sign. Each kidney also controls different sides of your liver and body. This is all tied to your lymphatic system. Your body’s sewage system. The body is composed of 75+ trillions cells. These cells create digestive waste and cellular waste. These cells can’t move so they are surrounded by interstitial fluid( 80% lymphatic fluid and 20% blood) those toxins are then sent your adrenal glands(triangle glands on top of your kidneys) and to through the kidneys. So your lymphatic system needs to working correctly. All these crappy food comprise these systems. Baking soda is not bad at all. Herbs will also assist in helping cleanse your kidneys and body.

If you can list a few herbs, would be much appreciated!

Shub I like you. I think fasting can be a very important part of a healthy lifestyle. Also like the fact you can take a joke. However, I’ve always been brought up to believe one can fuck up their metabolism by fasting too much. It slows it down and makes adding pounds faster and harder to lose. Thoughts?

Thanks glaze. Maybe if you’re not eating the correct foods to begin with I can see that. When you cook food and all that shit that sticks I the pan, sticks to your colon. I only recommend one long fast annually. 1-3 days fasting regularly are healthy. Like I said, most people don’t eat right to begin with.
