Lot of my friends and co workers think I'm an idiot for playing with randoms and I get it. Can't talk shit with each other, talk about the games, and like you said the risk of someone scamming the system.

but the fact is my friends play in $25 and $50 leagues and that's a complete waste of time in my opinion. You talking a 16 week season and when looking at it that way you need entry fee of at least 500 bucks to make it interesting. in my opinion. others may see it differently.

I also like the challenge of it in this league. with my buddies, would be easy to draft a stud loaded team. I've looked at their draft reports and it's unreal how dumb some of these guys are when it comes to fantasy.

in this masters league I got my fucking ass kicked last year and I love the challenge. these dudes know what they are doing. my teams doing way better than last year so far

I'm in two "gold" leagues. there is one level above it. think it's called platinum league and that must be the payout you're talking about.

I assure you the rx league is very sharp and dude24 is a great commish that would never let a trade like that go through

No I'm talking the 535 league if he executes his strategy he collects both 1st and 2nd place money for a total of 5400

would be very difficult to do, seems like a lot of risk.

although a guy from their customers service told me once that there are people who are in 100+ leagues which is absurd

Not hard at all. If you in 100 leagues you don't have to finish 1st and 2nd everytime.
If you are a good fantasy player and you are allowed to dump a top 50 player from one team for a top 5 player to another team it can be very lucrative.

but in years past they wouldn't allow any trade like that. so if someone were to do that they would have to get insider info before the season that they were changing their policies.

they would also have to have very big balls. because that plan could still be a disaster with injuries and just the general variance that comes along with fantasy football

not to mention no job and no life to keep up with all that

seems far fetched to me. nothing like that happening in my other league

more reasonable explanation is someone is a Seattle homer who overvalued Christine Michael

Playing in 100 leagues goes a long way towards reducimg
that variance .

Does this website allow you to pick which 12 team leagues you play in or does it randomly select for you which leagues you play in

Even if the top payout isn't much, collusion is certainly +EV if you dump to the good team after 4 weeks. It is very +EV with a David Johnson for Christine Michael trade.

3-5k is a lot of money to some people, scamming a bunch of FF sites with BS trades could be very lucrative if they are really allowing trades like that. And if you know your stuff about FF then you can really put "lipstick on a pig" with some trades. I could make tons of deals where there is a clear 70-30 or 80-20% chance that 1 side is getting the better deal and they would be very tough to void.

PPR is dull unless you're in atleast a 14 man league. 20 people is much better

20 people, good lord the rosters would be garbage. just hope you don't draw pick 20 in the draft. the guy who picked 1 has antonio brown and you got ty Hilton

Yea it would definitely be a good trade that "looks" fair but isn't even close

I still don't buy it tho

Sites like that where it is 12 strangers should obviously just have 0 trades. That is the optimal business model for that.

Fantasy football trades are way too subjective to have a legislative process about whether they should go through or not. For the most part...

Oh I'm sure they're cheating. It is a lot of $. Type of person who would cheat on a FF site can probably live pretty good for 2-3 months off 5k.

And even if they aren't, way too many people just act like stone morons when they are out of leagues. No consideration for the fact the other 10 people drafted and followed it all year.
