I feel sooooooooooooooooo damn good that it didn't land on 1 or 2. I would have really been sick had that happened (taking you off of a winner and putting you on a loser). I hate to tell anyone how to bet but I figured you would see it my way after I explained it to you. Also props for not buying the insurance. The theoratical hold on those MOV bets is above 10% and it just isn't worth it. I know that in the long run you will have won even more money than you would have with this new trick in your arsenal.

I got to tinkering with the numbers last night and it looks as if you could have done even better! Check this out, you would have had to play a 3 game 6 point teaser that pays 180 to 100 (widlely availaible at many books).



3 game teaser with Pitt -2.5, ATL pk, Phili -2.5 7,000 to win 12,600.


1. Pitt loses or wins by one or two..........Result -7,000
2. Pitt wins by 3 then take STL ml {+250} risking 4200 to win 10,500....... Result if Stl wins outright net win $3500 {-7,000 teaser +10500 ml STL} teaser dead...... If ATL win step on to step 3.



3. Pitt wins by 3 or more and ATL wins outright..........Take Minne ML {+320} risking 4593 to win 14,700.......... Results Minne wins outright +3500 {-7,000 teaser -4200 +14700 Minne ML win} Phili wins by 3 or more +3807 {+12,600 for teaser -4200 STL ML -4593 Minne ML}

Other result***** There is a disasterus reuslt. Pitt wins by 3 or more, ATL wins outright, and Phili wins by exactly one or two .... -7000 teaser -4200 STL ml and -4593 Minne ML = -15793!!!!


So you are risking 7,000 to win 3500 if STL wins outright. 7,000 to win 3500 is Minne wins outright or 7,000 to win 3807 if Phili wins by 3 or more.
