Ran across this tread and saw that you were doing a great job with your handicapping.

After doing some research, it appears to begin to try and get an edge in wager is to create a number of things such as;

1. power rating to rate the teams

2. Try to determine public perception if any

3. try to eval the players on each team

4. Review any recent trends

Can you please share anything else you may take into consideration when capping games? Thanks.

Investment is the only one you should follow...I like action also...those plays are under $800...Investment are over $2000 and a lot of work goes in to one before it become a "investment play"

But instead of 325 I used 378 which is the avg for all of the teams. It went 16-14...there were 2 plays with a +20 or more value which went 2-0. So maybe for college we should just take with the ones with a value of +20...see how it does during next few weeks.

have two other posted working on it also ...one is close to your number 375...the bug in the whole thing is when a weak team plays a lot better team...with odds on a game of -35 it can toss the stats way off....there has got to be a way to do it with a rank number factor or dont use some games when a team like FLA plays N. Texas...stat would be way off!
