$200 Take ‘Under’ 35.0 New York Giants at Chicago (8 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 22)
The Giants just played on Monday night so I don't expect a top effort out of this team. They are 14-20 against the total over the last several years in the preseason and are a solid 'under' bet. The Bears just gave up 27 points to the Bills last weekend so I'm sure that the defensive coaches and players have addressed that issue. The Giants want to run the ball a lot and that's going to keep the clock moving and help this play. Also, the Bears just don't have enough weapons in the passing game and I think the Giants defensive line is going to smother them. This line is dropping from its open and I think there is a good reason for that. I see 'under'.
$400 Take #430 Seattle (-3) over Denver (10:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 22)
Seattle is coming off a nice road win over San Diego and I think they keep the momentum going. New coach Jim Mora is trying to make his mark on this team and I think he really wants to impress his home fans. Denver lost on the road last week and now is on the road again. All week Denver has had distractions and things have not been going well in their camp. They have a brewing quarterback controversy. And Brandon Marshall has been nothing but negative since he has come back. He has been very vocal of his displeasure and I think that it is a huge distraction for this team having their best player sitting on the sideline and complaining in the media. I like the Seahawks to take care of business and get a blowout win for us.

Both won so record now is 5-5 -$25.00

Preseason is about watching each team and seeing what they are doing...

about to return with a few key spots on the way from upnorth...bomb fire lasted until 3 am this morning so I need the coffee before I start back...next 3 days will be looking at tape on this week game and trying some more picks next week

be good

Wasn't trying to be negative though I can see that it came off that way. I just like to know how he is doing and really didn't feel like going through the post and figuring it out myself. I apologize.:103631605

if you noticed his total got negative means you already did some figuring out and just felt like being an :bigone:

Get back to me when you have at least 100 posts and have something intelligent to say. I have known Ace here for many years and I am sure he knows I meant nothing of it.

10-4, ACE.

I've laid off the NFL the past few years, but I'll be following you this season. I also saw your system for college football totals and that looks very promising. Have you, or will you, be making any investment bets on that system?

Best of luck, buddy. You're a class act.

Hello Ace Ace, I just found this forum, and have already learned much from you. FINALLY, a forum where I can get help from someone who knows. I'm very excited about this football season. I have been reading through a bunch of your threads, and saw "MyLine". Is there one for football?

Hats off to you for all the work you do my friend (<)<

Yeah he will have one for football and usually posts his line during the week well before he even makes his plays. He also has a very good Totals Sheet with sam farha n jackel. Great information!

Welcome to the RX and good luck this season :toast:

Record 5-5 -$25.00

$300 Take ‘Over’ 37.5 Jacksonville at Philadelphia (7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 27)
Philadelphia should be looking to make a statement tonight and I expect a sharp showing from Donovan McNabb and the offense. The Jaguars gave up 24 points to Tampa Bay's offense last week and I will go out on a limb and say that the Eagles attack is much, much better. Philadelphia has gone 'over' the total in both of its preseason games this year and Jacksonville is 1-1. I think that getting to see Mike Vick in the second half against backups and third-string defenders is also a huge benefit to us. Even if I don't expect to seem him look good throwing the ball he can still run and can still move the chains. I expect to see plenty of offense throughout and I think that the Eagles might reach 30 points all by themselves.

$400 Take #272 New York Giants (-3) over New York Jets (8 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 29)
This is my Game of the Week and I expect the Giants to bounce back from their weak performance in Chicago last week. The Giants want to defend their home turf here. And all week they've been hearing about the hotshot rookie quarterback that's now starting for the crosstown rivals. Well, I think that the Giants defense are going to want to get after young Mark Sanchez. The Jets were getting soundly beaten by the Ravens on Monday night until they made a really fortunate comeback. I don't think that the Giants will let up in the same way. The favorite is 4-1-1 ATS in the last six meetings between these teams and I think that the G-Men are the much stronger club. The Jets should be winded after a short week and following a pretty emotional Monday night game against their coach's ex-team. This one is all Big Blue.

$200 Take #265 Tennessee (Pk) over Cleveland (7:30 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 29)
Cleveland scored a blowout win over a rookie quarterback and an 0-16 team last week. But that doesn't mean much to me. The Titans lost by 20 in Dallas and I am sure that Jeff Fisher has them fired up and ready to this week on the road. Cleveland still has quarterback issues and will be resting some of its best defenders. The Titans were 13-3 last year and have more depth at the key positions. This one might be low scoring but I don't see any way that the Browns come out with a win.

$350 Take #278 Atlanta (-2.5) over San Diego (8 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 29)
San Diego is 2-0 SU and ATS this preseason and now they have to travel cross-country to square off with a Falcons team that is playing its first home game. I think that's a big advantage for the Falcons. San Diego has been beat up and resting its guys all week in practice. I really don't think that they are going to take this game to seriously. Atlanta will want to put on a show for the hometown folks and I think that they will manage to do just that. This one all comes down to which team does this game matter to more. And it's Atlanta.

That all for this week-end...its all about watching what each team does!

ACE, this year I have added 2 additional math computations using different team stats, that now makes for a total of 8 different math views. Since my program is strictly stats driven, pre-season and the first games are of little value.

However, I thought I would at least like to share them as well.

Last week: totals = 3-4
Sides = 4-5

This weeks picks are:

St Louis vs Cincinnati: under 35
Miami +2.5
New England vs Washington" under 37
Green Bay +3
Indianapolis vs Detroit: under 40
Tennessee vs Cleveland: under 38
Baltimore +3
Seattle vs KC : under 39.5
Seattle +2.5
San Francisco +7
San Diego vs Atlanta: under 42
Chicago +2.5
Minnesota +3
