San Francisco City Officials Are Getting Nearly 80 'Poop Calls' Per Day

In just the month of July, the information line received 1,900 calls about human feces on sidewalks.

San Francisco says the number of homeless encampments is down but that between July 1 and July 25, 2018, the city's information service portal received around 2,000 calls about human feces on San Fran sidewalks — nearly 80 calls per day.
The San Francisco Chronicle reports that city officials have touted a significant decrease in so-called "tent cities"; the city has managed to cut the number of homeless encampments by about half over the last two years. But the homeless that remain are more destructive than ever and most have turned down the offer of public housing.

During the month of July, the city's 311 information and reporting hotline received plenty of calls about dangerous situations on San Francisco sidewalks. Of the more than 3,000 reports, 1,138 were about used syringes lying discarded in public areas and 1,948 were about "human feces or waste" — that's an average of 78 calls about poop per day.
It's also taking a toll on the city's commitment to recycling and living impact free. San Francisco may have officially banned plastic straws, but they're making up for what plastic they don't use in drink delivery in used plastic syringes. Since April, "janitors have cleaned up more than 13,000 dirty needles left behind" at two major public transportation hubs in the city.
One Bay Area Rapid Transit station, the Civic Center station, produced 9,000 of the 13,000 needles.
To treat the problem, San Francisco's new mayor is proposing "safe drug injections sites" where needles can be more easily collected. That probably won't do much to curb the sidewalk poop, though.

Gavin Newsom: I’m Bringing Single Payer To Everyone In California, Regardless Of Immigration Status

Open borders AND free healthcare = THE END of CA, or at least the version working America enjoys

Mexico can just stop providing healthcare for their citizens, just walk across the border

The more generous a state's welfare system is, the more that state will have a welfare migration, poverty there will explode

California bullet train project on track to blow through billions of more dollars

By Barnini Chakraborty | Fox News

California bullet train cost hiked by billions of dollars

New reports reveal California's bullet train construction project is costing $2.8 billion more than anticipated. What's happening now and what it could mean in the future.

California's biggest boondoggle just broke the bank.
Not only is the massive high-speed rail project 11 years behind schedule and billions in the red, managers are now saying they will need to ramp up spending to hit a 2033 deadline.

California’s money pit cost taxpayers $3.1 million a day last year. That’s small potatoes compared to what they’ll have to shell out over the next four if they want to meet their deadline and hit their $77 billion budget.

ELON MUSK PROPOSES LOS ANGELES TUNNEL TO DODGER STADIUM
The California High Speed Rail Authority will have to increase its daily spending by nine times.
“It’s a very aggressive spending rate,” Russell Fong, the authority’s chief financial officer told The Los Angeles Times, admitting that future goals may be difficult to achieve.
If the rail authority misses its 2033 target, inflation will likely raise the project’s pricetag by as much as $2 billion a year. That’s because billions of dollars of work would be shifted to the future when costs will be higher. Not hitting the deadline means the state will have to keep employees, contractors and consultants on the payroll much longer than anticipated.
Fong told the California paper that the agency’s estimates for future inflation are based on a composite of figures from Moody’s, the California Department of Transportation, the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Department of Energy.
VIDEO APPEARS TO SHOW HOMELESS MAN USING DRUGS ON BART TRAIN IN SAN FRANCISCO
Bullet train planners have been under increasing pressure to make progress on the system that many believe has no plausible way of living up to its goal of getting riders across the state in three hours or less.
California voters approved the pricey proposal in 2008. Backers – including several Democratic lawmakers – heralded it as an inventive concept that would connect Californians and transform transit policies down the road.
But critics maintain the bullet train project is a waste of time and money.
“This so-called bullet train is a solution in search of a problem that is plagued by billions of dollars in cost overruns and fiscal mismanagement,” San Diego Councilman Mark Kersey told Fox News earlier this year, adding that the billions wasted on the project “could have been invested in our current infrastructure needs, such as water storage, flood control, highways and bridges.”
While supporters say the project should continue because so much money has already been spent, others say it’s time to cut and run.
The DOT is also currently auditing the West Coast venture at the request of Rep. Jeff Denham, R-Calif. A final report is due in the fall.
Denham asked for a review of the previous administration’s oversight of federal expenditures. His office told Fox News they want to know if all precautions and risk analysis were taken to ensure the state’s finances were viable to meet their non-federal match requirements. The office says while they hope the federal government didn’t break the law, they are concerned that proper safeguards weren’t in place.

San Francisco bans plastic straws, but streets are littered with free hypodermic needle caps

San Francisco closer to creating safe space for drug addicts

Andrew McKenna, Vincent Hill and Dr. Marc Siegel weigh in.

Even as San Francisco bans plastic straws in an effort to clean up the city, the streets are now reportedly littered with plastic caps from free syringes.
The orange plastic caps come from the free hypodermic needles that officials hand out to prevent diseases spreading among drug users. The city hands out an estimated 400,000 syringes each month for drug users, but has little control on how these needles are disposed of. The San Francisco Chronicle previously reported more than 154,000 needles end up in the streets, sidewalks, parks and playgrounds.

Meanwhile, leaders in the California city are hoping to prevent plastic straws from washing up in the San Francisco Bay. The city unanimously approved in July a plan to ban plastic straws and stirrers, as well as food containers made with fluorinated chemicals. Items such as condiment packets and napkins will be given out at bars and restaurants upon request.

OPINION: IN SILLY SAN FRANCISCO DISEASE-RIDDEN NEEDLES ARE A-OK BUT A PLASTIC COCKTAIL STIRRER WILL SOON BE ILLEGAL
But these days, the orange plastic syringe caps are freely found scattered on streets and sidewalks, the Washington Post reported.
“Napkins, straws, and bags are available upon request,” sandwich shop Sentinel write on a menu footnote. “You can still get needles for free though. Welcome to SF.”

Shocking video: Junkies shoot up in San Francisco station

San Francisco Mayor London Breed told the newspaper that she wants residents and visitors to feel the city is “so clean.”
“I want people to walk around this city and think, ‘Wow, it’s so clean here,’” Breed said. “I want people just hanging out in front of where they live and enjoying the weather, people of all races, able to live in dignity because they have a home and are able to make ends meet.”
Breed said implementing the plastic straw ban is addressing a future problem, while working to clean the streets of items such as human feces, a Public Works crew dubbed the “poop patrol,” is addressing a current issue.
“There are things that matter now, and there are things that matter for the future of our planet and the next generation of people growing up in this city,” she said. “We can’t just think about what we need to do now.”

It’s Official: San Francisco To Allow Non-Citizens To Vote

It’s Official: San Francisco To Allow Non-citizens To Vote

By Jack Davis
October 23, 2018 at 4:50pm

In just a few days, immigrants who are not yet citizens will go to the polls in San Francisco and legally vote.
This is the first election under a new law that allows non-citizens to vote in the city’s school board elections. To date, only 35 non-citizens have registered to vote, although California allows voters to sign up on election day, The Associated Press reported.
Those who supported the measure said that because the children of non-citizens are in the city’s schools, voting rules needed to change.
“As a parent myself and a former member of the SF Board of Education it is critical that the voices of all parents are at the table particularly those that have historically been denied a voice in the process,” said Supervisor Sandra Lee Fewer of District 1, according to the New York Post.
Fewer said non-citizens have been restrained from exercising their vote by the temper of the times.
TRENDING: Dick Morris: Dems Repeating GOP Mistakes of 1998
“We’re in an unprecedented arena of animosity toward our immigrant community, and that has really stopped people from voting,” she said.
Harmeet Dhillon, an attorney and member of the National Republican Committee, said the new step is flat-out wrong.
“Voting is a sacred privilege and a sacred right of citizens. It should not be trivialized for political gain,” she said.
In an Op-Ed for Fox News, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said the San Francisco law is part of a dangerous political trend.
Should citizenship be required in order to vote?

” …the long-range plans Democrats have for a ruling majority depend on continuous law-breaking to get enough non-Americans to vote. The Californians who don’t support the radical views of Democrats can simply be eclipsed by non-citizen voters supporting the Democrats,” he wrote.
Gingrich said Congress should make the issue plain.
“A sound immediate step would be for Congress to pass a law reaffirming that you must be an American citizen to vote in all American elections. Let’s see how many Democrats would oppose this simple requirement,” he wrote.

The Public Interest Legal Foundation has found that, legal or not, non-citizens are registering in states such as Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Virginia.
The group found that in Virginia, about 5,600 voters on the rolls were not citizens, and that a third had voted in past elections.

“Our voter registration system masks non-citizens and allows the opportunity to vote until they decide to self-report at their own peril. All of this could have been prevented if states actually verified citizen eligibility upfront,” said Logan Churchwell, communications and research director for the foundation.
Voter rolls have become controversial. Late last year, the conservative activist group Judicial Watch sued California because 11 counties in the state had voter registration percentages greater than 100 percent of the “age-eligible” population, according to a news release from the group.

California may have the dirtiest election rolls in the country,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said. “Federal law requires states to take reasonable steps to clean up their voting rolls. Dirty voting rolls can mean dirty elections. This lawsuit aims to ensure that citizens of California can have more confidence that their elections are fair and honest.”

[h=1]Jerry Brown Blames Climate Change for California Wildfires[/h]

[h=2]California Gov. Jerry Brown blamed climate change Sunday for the California wildfires, despite a complete lack of evidence — a day after President Donald Trump was widely criticized for blaming poor forest management.[/h]According to the Associated Press, Brown, described as an “evangelist” for climate change, also blamed climate change deniers for the deadly fires, saying they were responsible for the deaths of California residents.
“Managing all the forests in everywhere we can does not stop climate change,” he said. “And those who deny that are definitely contributing to the tragedies that we’re now witnessing, and will continue to witness in the coming years.”

Trump’s theory is that over-regulation has led to under-harvesting of forests, leaving more fuel for fires to burn. Brown’s theory is that the global use of fossil fuels is making California warmer and drier, and more prone to fires.
The exact causes of the Camp Fire in Northern California, and the Woolsely fire in Southern California, which are currently burning across a collective 200,000 acres and have killed over 30 people, have yet to be determined.
However, the primary reason California is naturally prone to fires is that it has a broadly Mediterranean climate, with short, rainy winters; hot, dry summers; and occasional periods of prolonged drought.
Moreover, as California’s population nears 40 million people, and as the high cost of housing encourages people to move into rural or peri-urban areas, the risk grows that ordinary human activity will start fires.
Several recent fires have been started by power lines downed in high winds, and even by tire bursts on rural roadways that sent sparks into flammable brush.
In the case of the Camp and Woolsey fires, the deadly blazes have been spread by Santa Ana winds — also a naturally-occurring, seasonal phenomenon as air from the interior mountain ranges moves toward the coast.
Brown has repeatedly blamed climate change for fires and other natural disasters in California — despite pushback from otherwise sympathetic scientists, who have accusedthe governor in the past of “noble-cause corruption.”
Data released earlier this year showed that the U.S. led all nations in reducing carbon dioxide emissions in 2017, the year that President Trump pulled out of the Paris Climate Accords, amidst dire predictions from his opponents.

[h=1]Neil Young Rips Climate Change ‘Denier’ Trump After Woolsey Fire Destroys Home[/h]

[h=2]Rocker Neil Young blasted President Donald Trump on Sunday, referring to him as a climate change “denier,” after losing his Malibu home in the Southern California’s Woosley fire.[/h]“California is vulnerable — not because of poor forest management as DT (our so-called president) would have us think,” Young wrote in a blurb on his website. “As a matter of fact this is not a forest fire that rages on as I write this. We are vulnerable because of Climate Change; the extreme weather events and our extended drought is part of it.”
“Our temperatures are higher than ever here in our hottest summer on record. That has not helped,” added the singer-songwriter. “DT seems to be the Denier. (I’m holding back and not using the word liar because it rhymes with denier). It really is time for a reckoning with this unfit leader. Maybe our new congress can help. I sure hope so.”

Young ended the post, writing: “Imagine a leader who defies science, saying these solutions shouldn’t be part of his decision-making on our behalf. Imagine a leader who cares more for his own, convenient opinion than he does for the people he leads. Imagine an unfit leader. Now imagine a fit one.”
While Young appears confidant asserting climate change caused the wildfires, California authorities have yet to release any information on what caused the trio of blazes. The California fire is the deadliest blaze in the state’s modern history, killing at least 31 people. As of Sunday, the Woosley Fire has scorched 85,500 acres and destroyed nearly 180 structures. Caitlyn Jenner and Dr. Strange director Scott Derrickson were also among the celebrities who lost their homes in the blaze.
The isn’t the first time the Canadian Rock and Roll Hall of Famer has taken aim at President Trump. Last week, the 72-year-old called on the president to cease playing his music during political rallies, stating the song “Rockin’ In The Free World” was being featured at the events against his “wishes.”
Previously, Young has sent a cease-and-desist letter to President Trump to stop playing his music but in a recent blog post admitted the president has the legal right to do so.

Fast Train to Failure

California’s mismanaged high-speed rail project has gone on for long enough.

The project’s backers, including Governor Jerry Brown, promised that CAHSR would cost just $33 billion and be finished by 2022, including extensions to Sacramento and San Diego.

LOL The new cost estimate, not including the extension is $77-99 Billion.

[h=1]Study: More than 7-in-10 California Immigrant Households Are on Welfare[/h]

[h=2]More than 7-in-10 households headed by immigrants in the state of California are on taxpayer-funded welfare, a new study reveals.[/h]The latest Census Bureau data analyzed by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) finds that about 72 percent of households headed by noncitizens and immigrants use one or more forms of taxpayer-funded welfare programs in California — the number one immigrant-receiving state in the U.S.
Meanwhile, only about 35 percent of households headed by native-born Americans use welfare in California.

All four states with the largest foreign-born populations, including California, have extremely high use of welfare by immigrant households. In Texas, for example, nearly 70 percent of households headed by immigrants use taxpayer-funded welfare. Meanwhile, only about 35 percent of native-born households in Texas are on welfare.
In New York and Florida, a majority of households headed by immigrants and noncitizens are on welfare. Overall, about 63 percent of immigrant households use welfare while only 35 percent of native-born households use welfare.
President Trump’s administration is looking to soon implement a policy that protects American taxpayers’ dollars from funding the mass importation of welfare-dependent foreign nationals by enforcing a “public charge” rule whereby legal immigrants would be less likely to secure a permanent residency in the U.S. if they have used any forms of welfare in the past, including using Obamacare, food stamps, and public housing.
The immigration controls would be a boon for American taxpayers in the form of an annual $57.4 billion tax cut — the amount taxpayers spend every year on paying for the welfare, crime, and schooling costs of the country’s mass importation of 1.5 million new, mostly low-skilled legal immigrants.
As Breitbart News reported, the majority of the more than 1.5 million foreign nationals entering the country every year use about 57 percent more food stamps than the average native-born American household. Overall, immigrant households consume 33 percent more cash welfare than American citizen households and 44 percent more in Medicaid dollars. This straining of public services by a booming 44 million foreign-born population translates to the average immigrant household costing American taxpayers $6,234 in federal welfare.

And here we have a clear illustration of class warfare. The DemoScums steal money from those that work for it, and give it to those that don't, in order to get votes,
and build political power.
