For Wednesday I have a little different of a bird. I've played them before and they've come through so I'm going with them again.
Finland - Veikkausliiga
VPS Vaasa +0.5 1.87 over HJK Helsinki
Helsinki is in 3rd place and that's why they are favored here. VPS started out the year poorly and that has caused them to be lower down in the tables so they are not getting as much respect. However, they are on a string of 5 wins. Yes, 4 of those wins were against lower-tier teams but this string of wins has given them confidence.
Besides, Helsinki has only won once in their last 5 road matches while VPS has won their last 3 home matches.
HJK might be a good bet also today. VPS goalkeeper Sillanpää is doubtful about todays game. He got a little on his leg last game and was forced to leave the field. He was in training yesterday, but couldn't kick the ball yet. If he is out, then VPS will be in trouble. Second GK Moisander has played in 3 games for about 200 minutes, he has let in 7 goals from 12 shots. If he plays, then big win for HJK could be on boards. Also Koskela is out for VPS due to suspension.
HJK is missing Sauso and Haapala from best 11 and Taulo and Roiha from bench. HJK has good players to take places of these guys so this won't be a big problem.
If Sillanpää playes, this will be a low scoring game. Problem is that Sillanpää situation will be clear only about hour before match starts..

Iceland - Premier
Stjarnan Gardabaer PK 1.72 over KR Reykjavik
Stjarnan has scored 15 goals at home while only giving up 3.
KR is a good team but play conservatively on the road so I see less of a chance for victory for them.
On a related note, I am getting increasingly frustrated with TheGreek's lines. They have Stjarnan at 1.54 (-185) for the PK with KR at 2.25 (+125) for the PK. That's a horrible spread.
FH Hafnarfjordur -0.5 1.74 over Valur Reykjavik
I'm going against my current theme of taking home favorites with good for. Valur has scored 8 goals at home while only having given up 3. However, those 4 victories came against the bottom teams of the league. I think I will try to find teams that have done well against poor teams and bet against them. Likewise, I think I will find teams that have lost against good teams and bet on them when they play a lesser team.
Hafnarfjordur is the top team in the league and has lost only once this year with no draws.

Here we have 2 situations that I have been following. One, where a team has good form either at home or away and two, where a team has recent good form but against poor teams.
