No one is arguing that diving, faking crying does not happen in soccer. I'm just proving you wrong in your statement, stating the Italians are the worse, which clearly they're not!

Based on my 30 years of watching major soccer tournaments (involving European teams.. WC and Euro), my unscientific observation is that Italians are the worst offenders of injury time wasting at the end of matches.

IMO they are biggest 'drama queens' by far...

The refs should ignore it and play on... You can tell 99 percent of the time if its warranted or not.
If you ignored them and they knew that you will ignore them, they would get up in 10 secs or less...pretty much every time

Once we look at the present facts Coppa America and Euro cups, The South Americans are the worst offenders followed by the English. This is fact not opinion. In conclusion your opinion is incorrect.

Watched the Italy Vs Belgium game up north with an italian friend. He quips late - 'oh no we going to start diving now,. going to get a dumb yellow' . My father-in-law (RIP) was die hard, always an excuse, i dont think he saw the flops. Too bad he's not here to see Sunday, he'd be so pumped
