should be a cracker. Kudos to Mancini has them playing more attacking. Italy has seen a dramatic fall in soccer both internationaly and league play. Once upon a time Serie A was the top league in Europe, or one could argue it was - those days r long long gone. An Italian team hasnt won Champions League in over a decade. Internationally, stunningly missed the last World Cup.

I always thought pk's should be reserved for fouls that prevented a reasonable chance at a goal scoring opportunity.

For example if the attacker is at the edge of the penalty area with his back toward a goal and he gets clipped.
Well that is a foul in the penalty area but I wouldnt give a pk as it wasnt a goal scoring opportunity yet

Chile vs Paraguay 10 minutes stoppage, Brazil vs Chile 8 minutes stoppage. Virtually every game has 5 to 6 minutes of stoppage, because of all the diving and faking!
Damsgaard should have flopped in the box at the 9 minute mark when he was bodychecked by Walker! Way more force/contact and it took away a scoring chance than that Belgium pk! It doesn't look good. FIFA one of the most corrupt governing body in sports. Shades of 66 in the making, were the English were awarded the championship on their home soil!
