Well, total failure on that stuff. Wanted to see if the great Luck I had yesterday could continue and I could hit another Longshot Play but it didn't happen. Part of the exercise was to get positioned with those plays then watch as the game unfolded identifying factors within squads that play in a certain style to get a feel for which of these type of Props might be more +EV going forward.....in games with certain style/skill levels of teams involved.
What Spain Soccer team was that which showed up today?!?
They looked Great and the best play was to have confidence they were going to get it done, as they did. Spain ML backers had an easy go of it which at the -233 it was is the way it should have gone
Mainly what was uncovered is what needs to be done to get Spain to bring it offensively like they are Argentina is to insult their goal scoring ability in a long post prior to the match.
Finally we had a supposed to be badass team bring it and really play to their capabilities.

Back To The Copa America for the final game of the day and the final post I'll clutter this thread with that involves my experimenting with various soccer betting strategies that exist outside of the norm....the Over/Under, ATS and ML.
I may still post a Play that I am especially confident in, this clutter here though this is not gonna get repeated. It was born of the discussion which arose when Greenbacks mentioned "supposed to be badass" teams not looking so badass.
The ML on Peru at +565/Colombia -161 certainly beefy enough with Peru to imply that once again we have a team in Colombia that is supposed to be badass in this spot.
Will they be?
Colombia handled USA 2-0 to open this tourney, they did look very good and Colombia has managed to score twice in 6 straight games, Peru did give up 2 goals to Ecuador and Three of the country’s best-known players for more than a decade, Claudio Pizarro, Jefferson Farfán and Juan Manuel Vargas were left off of this Peruvian Squad, while 11 of the 23 selected had not featured in the first six World Cup qualifiers so to me the play here is to back the team that the line suggests is the badass side in this matchup.
These 2 countries share a border so The Passions will be very very high in this matchup.
Peru will fight with all that they have here for National Pride as will Colombia at least as hard if not harder bcuz in Colombia Soccer is taken very very seriously.
I have been somewhat impressed by what I have seen from Peru thus far in this tourney and I always seem to have a fondness for Peru which makes betting games Peru is in a bit challenging, I think the soft spot I have for Peru comes from Pele and a Peruvian Soccer time long long ago that I was too young to comprehend at the time but about which ther is so much Legend.
I can't escape thinking that Peru will not get owned in this spot but I also can't let "emotion" get in the way of making what I conclude is the most + EV Play(s) that have the best chance of cashing
I believe that Colombia is the more competent & skilled of the 2 sides.
The question is are they the HUNGRIER of the 2 sides.

I do have a main 1 Unit Play on this due to the above stuff mentioned but that will be reduced to a .75 or 3/4 Unit Play due to Line being suggestive that it will be less easy than I hope, for that to cash.
I will play, in Parlay with some baseball and upcoming soccer matches: Colombia -1 +115 but my confidence in that play is not great due to the fact that I hate to give goals in Soccer or Hockey. Hate this with a passion so rarely do it, thus is that confined to Parlay but there is a very good chance that Confidence in Colombia is warranted here and that this is a sharp play. Time will tell.
3 Props below also I like that will get allotted 1 Unit between them so .33 or 1/3 Unit on each in an aim to recover the lost unit (or at least part of that) from The Spanish Experiment wherein Spain simply came out and played an excellent game with an aggressiveness that saw them have a great deal more success on offense than they usually do.
Nolito did score a goal, had Nolito to score the first goal of the game which did not happen but he scored 3 minutes later which was +260 and would have been the play to make, in hindsight which again....is the whole point of trying various of these Props to see what "the feel" is on these for best Value. Obviously the take of +410 for first goal Nolito was reckless & greedy, +260 the more conservative play was the way to go there. Question answered as to how much value there is in trying to grab an extra +150 in that spot.....seems -EV. Best to take that more conservative approach. Live & Learn.
