I think the english owe a lot for their defeat to erickson, i mean he wasn't coaching latvia, why the hell did he keep the team in their own half solely and had them defend for just about all 90 minutes, he should have pressed the error prone portuguese more up front in the midfield and look for that goal that would end it all. When you are constantly defending you are giving the other so many chances, they are bound to score at one point or the other. I mean us greeks played more offensively against portugal, and we dont have half the talent the english have. The ref was of course favouring the home team, but the english couldn't help themselves either. And Beckham is such a spineless, gutless player, so much talent, so little brain and balls.

What do you think this Portugal-Holland match should be?

I like portugal here. Other than robben and nistelroy i have not been very impressed with holland, neither with advocat's 4-3-3 with nistelroy the sole attacker up front, neither with the performance of their right flang with van der maiden and reiziger, nor with seedorf and davids in the midfield, and their defense is very error prone. I ve had my fair share of good fortune to see them advance yesterday but i don't give them much chances against portugal. Probably this line should have been set at -1/4, with something like portugal 1.9, holland 2.02, but i don't expect to see much line movement here, i expect to see some though, holland's a force to reckoned with in terms of world soccer and i am sure they get plenty of money their way.

I am taking iasbet's (australian bookmaker, licensed and regulated, and founded by one of the business's pioneers) 1.84 pk for 3%, and i like my chances here a lot. I would have probably gone against portugal had their opponent not gone through overtime, but last nights overtime will actually give a tiredness factor edge to the portuguese, considering that one more day of rest.

(I can't figure out why the folk at betfair consistently overlay this one, haven't they figured out yet that the organisers are instructing the officials on a low card count, haven't they realised that the teams are not playing rugby but football. They just set the odds based on the assumption that a crucial game where both teams give it their all should have a de facto high card count, not so, not so. The players are professionals and will think twice before commiting a tough bookable tackle for fear of others doing it to themselves and risking their season to come in terms of injuries. It's the end of the season for most besides and they are particularly prone to injuries. I ve also included bellow the russian referees statistics, valentin ivanov, he averages 5.7 points per game, 2.3 less than the 8 margin we are after. And in the six games of international teams he's officiated in, the averag is 7.1 including two games here with the barbaric bulgarians and the red card in the England-Switzerland game courtesy of dumb swiss sub who got two yellows in a matter of 5 minutes.)

I finally got all my bets in an excel spreadsheet, don't know if i can upload it here, i probably cant, but i ll just copy paste it after todays bets are settled.

I am doing rather well in this euro, could be doing better, but with a 32.9% of bankroll in profit, and a 119.7% yield i am still content.

I ll be here for some live bets too, if there's anything of value, will try to post them in time in case anyone likes em and bets them, at betandwin, i know not many would want to open an account with them bums, and they would be right not too, but they do have the best live betting and if you haven't bet there before they won't be cutting any limits, no sixth sense for winners fortunately, i am currently using a few accounts with them for which i should be thanking some betting acolytes of mine, i probably shouldnt be saying that in an open forum, but, what the fvck, i am not doing anything wrong here, i tell others what to bet (well in a way...), and they bet it, and we all profit. Besides, this sorry excuse of a bookmaker betandwin should get what they deserve, for fvcking the small public player over, and cutting the limits of (any) winners. Fvck em.
