As discussed, I'm quite high on the Albanians and am certainly in the minority with this thinking. This side plays well together and are strong defensively in the midfield and especially across the back line. There is a rivalry in this match due to the mass immigration from Albania to Switzerland and both sides feature players who could play for either country. The Swiss, are massively overrated IMO and lack chemistry and cohesiveness all over the pitch. The talent is there, but it rarely translates to results. Keep an eye on Albanian defender Hysaj, who is excellent and led Serie A power Napoli this year and may be on the move to Spanish Giants Atletico. Albanian are short on offensive talent, but won't beat themselves and will take advantage of opponents who continually make unforced errors, something the Swiss provide on the regular.
As stated, Slovakia may be the most underrated side in this tourney and are the second best side in Group B by my analysis. Much is made of Wales qualifying for the first time in 58 years and all world talent Bale, rightfully so, but this is no easy match for the Welsh. The media and even players seem to be focused on England, which will be a colossal mistake. I may have a bit more on this one after lineups are announced.

What a disasterous day yesterday. Obviously, these things happen in gambling, but I am a bit concerned as yesterday was certainly my favorite day in terms of match ups and it didn't go how I envisioned, although I can at least take some solace in the fact that my reads weren't far off. Albania outplayed the Swiss with ten men and should have got something out of the match, Slovakia outplayed Wales much of the match and shut down Bale in the run of play, but were burned by his set piece magic and England should have scored at least four goals if they had any class up front. Shoulda, coulda, woulda...let's start getting it back today.

Group D may be the most difficult group IMO and should feature some excellent matches. I'm high on all four sides, but despite my positive outlook on Turkey I'm just not seeing it today against a very dangerous Croatian side who may feature the best midfield in the entire tournament with Rakitic (Barca), Modric (Real), Perisic (Inter) and Kovacic (Real). A bit of revenge for the Croatians for their 2012 heartbreaker against Turkey in the QF's.
