Good Luck Joey. That Sweden-USA game should be a good benchmark for the Americans. Sweden really struggles in friendliesfor some reason, though.

btw, even though Im Canadian, I support Sweden (and Canada) in international soccer.

Tough one with Spurs. I was at the match yesterday. The Spurs fans were singing the loudest, cheering on Jol. Should be proud of a good performance. Gareth Bale looked brilliant. Once you get Lennon back, you're gonna have alot of pace in the wide positions. I'm hoping Jol ends up playing that kid Taarabt. He was doing some crazy skills in the warmup. He looked decent when he came on aswell. Very good under pressure.

Am I bitter ? Yes.

Did we have 3 penalty claims ? 99.9% of the time at least one of those is called.

Having seen the replays, I don't think either were penalties. The angles I saw of the Brown incident showed the ball hit his torso, and the ref wasn't in a good position to award anything. There is a problem witi refs not giving much to opponents at the big stadiums especially Old Trafford. The reason for Tottenham's frustration is that they were alot better than Man Utd, but as happens so often in football, the better team lost.

Had to laugh when the Spurs fans started chanting 'You're just a shit Gareth Bale' to Giggs. Aswell as 'You're just a shit Maradona' to Tevez.

there was not one conclusive angle that the ball hit Wes on the arm...most every angle shows the ball hitting his left tit and then the arm comes out as a reflex to break his fall with the ball avoiding the arm all together.

incredibly impressed by Gareth Bale. United were leading the Bale race forever and I cannot believe they let him get away.

Carling Cup should be interesting today especially with top D2 sides like MK Dons facing a sputtering Blades team ... a very in-form Leeds side at a huge price against the Pompey reserves ... and a decent Rovers team hosting a weak and weakened West Ham group
