My pool had 966 entries and now we at 288 survivors. I stayed with sf and sweat it out. The first place takes $24,000. Only 4 places take money and the guy who wins a week with the biggest underdog all year gets $1100.
I'm looking at Cincinnati, Atlanta, San Diego, Seattle, Arizona, and Giants.

I thought about getting gutsy and playing Houston on Thursday night..but I think I should just play to "survive." Is this the week to play San Diego? I don't wanna look to far ahead..I could be knocked at this league much earlier than I'd like to be..but I think I'm in good shape right now. Here's San Diego's upcoming schedule (next 3 weeks are division games!!?!):

week 6: @ Oakland
week 7: vs Kansas City
week 8: @ Denver
week 9: @ Miami
week 10: BYE WEEK
week 11: vs Oakland
week 12: vs St. Louis
etc
etc
etc
etc
I'd roll with the Chargers. Or Hell roll with Seattle, Cowboys aren't winning this game.

Even DONKS win sometimes... Right?

Still alive.. Have used NYJ, Wash, CIN, SD, NO.

Still got some big dogs and may need to use Den or Sea this week. Not a great feeling about any team this week. Den and SD on the road could knock out a lot of people. May have to roll with Seattle at home.

To stay alive no road teams and no division games. It starts getting too risky.

Everyone will be on Seattle and San Diego this week as most of us have used the big dogs already. I do like taking teams that have a decent shot that nobody picks because if one of those big teams loses it knocks out a chunk of the pool. Good luck.

I'm still alive....barely after taking the Saints last week. $100 per entry, 8500 started in the pool, now down to 2600.

I've taken, Eagles, Broncos, Pats, Chargers, Saints.

I was looking at Seattle for this week. I know you aren't supposed to look ahead, but I think week 9, they play the raiders at home. Would love to save them.

I like the Bengals also. I think Panthers have some injury issues and Bengals home coming off bad loss to Pats.

What do you guys think about Arizona home vs Washington?

I hate to use them now, but I was leaning toward seattle and/or cincy because like "Donkwin" said above I think a lot of people are going to take those Denver/San Diego road favorites and one of them "could" go down. Plus Thursday Night Football is insane!! There's part of me that wants to play Houston. (Random fact: the team that controls the "ground game" has won every Thursday night game. Rushing Yards on offense...And less rushing yards allowed = Houston). There are some games this week that make me scratch my head though.

I guess my determining factor is this: Will the Chargers lose @ Oakland this weekend? (Remember..Oakland coming off a bye with a NEW head coach and San Diego is looking ahead to "TWO" divisional games in a row: Kansas City & Denver)

I'm still alive in our suicide pool and I'm thinking about rolling the dice and taking the Titans. I have used Jets, Bucs, Saints, SD and Packers.

Is this more of "Fade Jacksonville" type of play? (because..it's starting to sound like a good idea)

We may want to be careful and watch this one though..now I know why a lot of books have this line closed right now:
"The Jacksonville Jaguars announced on Wednesday that while wide receivers Allen Hurns and Marqise Lee participated fully in practice and are back on track to play on Sunday. We could also get cornerback Dwayne Gratz back, after he suffered a concussion against the San Diego Chargers. On the other side of the ball Titans quarterback Jake Locker missed Wednesday practice and his status is in doubt for Sunday.
