no butler??

i dont think UConn has any mental toughness (esp Thabeet) if they are put to the test. I would expect them to be Sweet 16 exit. As far as other teams there is clearly a separation between Tier I, II and III, but you all know anything can happen in March, depending on matchups, etc.

TIER I
-Wake
-PITT
-Duke
-UNC
-Oklahoma
-UConn (barely)

TIER II
-Mich St (UNC matchup proved this)
-Louisville
-Syrause
-Xavier
-ASU
-UCLA
-Clemson
-Marquette
-Texas

TIER III
-Notre Dame
-G'Town
-Purdue
-St. Marys
-Gonzaga
-Memphis
-Baylor
-Illinois

no butler?? your insane...this is a young team and will be dangerous by tourney time...you will see and they will be the sleeper of the tourney for sure!!! yeah i said it!!! if they dont do it this year its guaranteed next year

UCONN
UNC
WAKE
PITT

These are clearly the 4 best teams in the country.

Other teams with the personnel that will give them a legit chance.

Louisville
Oklahoma (Blake Griffin is that good, otherwise no)
Texas (Need to improve inside play a bit)
Syracuse
West Virginia
Gonzaga

Sleeper

Purdue (Need to improve rebounding, or they would be with the group above)
Villanova (Improvement of Cunningham gives them a shot to go deep)
Duke (Lack of post presence hurts them or else they would be with first group)

Would you like to put a side wager on them not winning the conference? I would also like to throw another bet your way consisting of them having a six seed or better. That statement is not very well thought out and they will be put into a better bracket then the one you posted if they have an at large.

Also, if any of the teams listed that you said you would take St. Mary's on a neutral court. I will take any side wager of that too. You do realize that St. Mary's must continue on the pace that they are at for the entire season and beat Gonzaga once or twice to get an at large? This team could miss the tournament with a poor finish.

I just do not see how you have them automatic winner over everyone, when they have played no one. Not only an auto win against the Tier II teams, but a Final Four appearance.

That's a lot of side wagers you're offering. I would take them in a second also if i trusted you to pay, which I'm not sure I do.

St Marys to win the conference, in what way? Regular season or conference tourney? I think they win both, but would no way bet them straight to win the tourney because anything can happen in those. Regular season is more reflective of the team. Yes I think they get a 6 seed or better also. sportsline yesterday had them at a 10 seed, behind teams like Wisconsin and Minnesota. That is ridiculous. I would take St Marys at -6 on a neutral vs either of those teams. St Marys will just continue to go up though and they WILL end as a 6 seed or better assuming they only lose maybe 1 more game. Teams from the Big 10 like Wisconsin, Michigan and Minnesota might not even turn out to be tournament teams at all. I wouldn't even write in a team like Notre Dame either. I think ND gets about 18 wins on the year and they will be lucky to make the tournament.

St Marys, if they win the WCC, which they should, would have to be a top 6 seed, and should really be 4 or 5. They currently have Gonzaga at a 4 seed. Zaga has what, 3 more losses? Zags played a tougher OOC schedule, but St Marys at worst will split with Zaga and they'd have to get a better seed imo, or at least the same seed.

I think your side wagers would honestly end up being very easy money for me and you'd be thinking "how could i offer that" in about a month and a half.
