That is some crazy creative cap accounting.

I've never seen a contract like this.
Exactly! Maybe the State is pitching in... L O L Eagles will charge tax on sales but won't need to pay State Sales TAX to Commonwealth...

Yes and he is the only one.... And doesn't it say something that you have to go back 30 years.

Also, at the time he played in what was then a gimicky offense with 4 wr and 1 rb in the run and shoot. Teams didn't know how to defend that well back then which sounds crazy today. Basically always had 1 on 1 coverage with a mismatch somewhere since strong safety's were more run enforcers then.

But that is literally the only black qb that had a good season past 30.

I was actually a fan of the Oilers back then because the Colts completely sucked for about a decade
Fact. (y)

Nobody is worth what they are paid until they win the Super Bowl!

Warren Moon never actually won a Super Bowl in the NFL1. However, he did play in one Super Bowl game with the Seattle Seahawks in 1999 but lost to the Denver Broncos 34-192.

Think he won the Grey Cup? What's Thats :+clueless

Highest paid not one of them won the Super Bowl. I would think they all dream of winning but.......

NFL's highest-paid quarterbacks

RankPlayerAAV
1Aaron Rodgers$50.3 million
2Russell Wilson$49 million
3Kyler Murray$46.1 million
4Deshaun Watson$46 million
5Patrick Mahomes$45 million
6Josh Allen$43 million
7Derek Carr$40.5 million
T-8Dak Prescott$40 milllion
T-8Matthew Stafford$40 million
10Kirk Cousins$35 million

$51M/yr for 5 years, whoa.

How many NFL QBs would have taken The Eagles to the Super Bowl last year if Hurts hadn't?

I say, a lot of 'em would have, playing with that awesome OL and top notch receivers, aided by a strong defense for field position and ball possession advantages.

I say, 3rd string 49er QB Brock Purdy would have, for example.

Lamar has already lost a half step or even a full step, not nearly as quick as earlier.

If he keeps running too much, he will get dinged and even injured a lot and hurt the team. Playing dinged is often much worse than sitting out.

Running QBs get dinged and sometimes keep playing (Trubisky, Mayfield both had injured non throwing shoulders that lingered a few yrs --- non throwing shoulders in harnesses hinder the QBs ((Mayfield did not run but scrambled way way too often and got smashed)). Wentz ran too much too, was a trainwreck after a few years.

There is s long list of QBs that ran too much in against the freak HGH weight lifting mutant defensive players in the NFL and tapered off production wise after while.

5 yrs, 17 regular season games = 85 games.

I would go under 57, games that he starts and finishes, for 5 large.
