Indiana WON'T get by Maryland. You can guarantee that. Either way, alot of you guys are saying that Duke usually gets all the calls, which I think is BS. I've watched most of the Duke games, and although I cannot attest for the first half of the Indiana game, the refs don't favor Duke. I don't know where people get off saying that. Duke gets alot of fouls on the other team because they are good. When you have Jason Williams' ability to cut to the hoop, you are going to have to foul him or let him shoot. Most of the time people foul the Dukies because they are good enough to get free. Not because the referees have a secret pact with Coach K.
agree with tenacious g. he'll suck in the NBA. he wont even make magette's level. guy is rumeal robinson all over again, but at least rumeal is a winner and didnt choke on the big FT's even though his FT% is worse than his (williams) the similaraties between these two are scary. what about trajon langdon whats he been up to? does he even play? last time i saw him he dribbled the ball off his shoe out of bounds in a championship game with a chance to win it or something. tired of the over rated duke losers. like florida QBS just good for college, period.
Trajan Langdon is a backup for the Cavs but comparing him to Williams is like comparing apples to oranges. Elton Brand is doing very well in the NBA. Maggette is still very young and has tons of talent. Battier is having an above average rookie year. You don't expect every Duke player to be a star in the league do you? THey do as well as any other college, I have no idea where you get off calling them overrated. Don't forget about Grant Hill. He was one of the best in the league before injuries. Laetner and Ferry are still playing in the league. You can't expect them all to be stars. Duke can come close to most colleges in terms of good NBA players.
