You drunk drivers need to get some priorities straight. Kill my wife or kids while drinking and you will wish you were in prison.

dui laws are bullshit, i recently got one and they are treating me like a hardcore criminal, lets not forget 1st dui offense is a misdameaner(spelled wrong i am sure), .09 was my bac, and i went to jail, paid 2500 in fines 12 weeks of classes , insurance more than doubled and can't go to my mom's house cause she runs a daycare, they sent her a letter saying she has to tell all the parents first of my criminal record in order for me to go over there, ridiculous.every study shows that 99.9% of accidents are caused by sober people, that includes fatal accidents, yet they this bs law and the horseshit .08 limit continues. limit needs to be .10 or even a little higher, .08 is two beers and the cops are ruining peoples lives over it.

38% of traffic fatalities in 2009 involved a driver with a BAC of .01% or higher, http://www-fars.nhtsa.dot.gov/States/StatesAlcohol.aspx , Fact, supported by actual data, not just figures spewed from a disgruntled person who thinks because he got caught, "laws are bullshit"

The way the DUI laws have gotten, it's a risk to go have a drink or two at dinner. Had a good friend that me and the wifey went out with for dinner with. We each had 2-3 beers and he went through a road block and they charged him with DUI. It ended up costing him over 10k to get out of it. I thought it was BS personally, but the laws are put in place to keep the drunk drivers off the road.

This country has their priorities mixed up. We are confused as a society. We advertise alcohol like soda pop and they say, "drink responsibly." Do you think they really give a fuck if you "drink responsibly?" Pffsh. It is a win win situation to say that.. because they know nothing will happen if you don't "drink responsibly." There are no repercussions if you go and kill some innocent person in a drunk driving incident. Not like they are going to make alcohol illegial again. Reason I say this is because I had two friends die in Ocean City within the last month. Not saying that I don't drink occasionally. But, medical marijuana helps everything from HIV to epilepsy. What does Alcohol help with? If you look at the states where they have legalized Medical Marijuana... for instance California... the drunk driving deaths are down a lot. The lowest they have been in the past 14 years. Real talk fellas.

Not to mention what it would do to states that are in debt. California is fucked because there are too many immigrants. It is overcrowded as it is. But, as a whole, the rest of the country would benefit tremendously. An article I just read says a study shows Seattle Washington could raise $560 Million dollars a year by legalizing Medical Marijuana. Even though those patients would be breaking the law by driving under the influence... not like that is keeping people who drink from driving even though it is against the law. People do not go out and kill people because they smoked too much. Most people will tell you that they drive slower. Like I said, in states where they have it legalized..the accident rates are down. You can't die from smoking too much, it's impossible. To have it be a scheduled 1 drug is actually laughable. Anybody seen Refer madness? All the old timers watched that shit and thought it was true. But MM has evolved over the years. Not the same shit as it once was. In 30 years, all the people who grew up in the 70's wont be around to give it a bad name. That's all.

Hard to tell the difference between a .06, a .08, and a .10

The problem is where do you draw the line? Should it be a misd for under .10 and a felony for anything higher? I always laugh when I hear people say that they actually drive better when drunk because they pay more attention, or some bullshit like that.

People think that driving is somehow a right. Driving is a privilege, not a right. If you want to drive, then you're accepting responsibility for following all the laws that apply. If you don't want to wear a seat belt, not carry insurance, speed, run stop signs, drive drunk, etc..., then don't bitch when you're stopped and ticketed or placed in jail.

Like what?...posting on gambling message boards?

If your going to compare those two, I don't what else to say to you. I hope you go to jail quickly so that you don't hurt anyone.

Its one thing to do it, another to brag about it. POS
