Contests with 400,000 entries are like playing the lottery? I'm shocked.

To be fair --- you can play the double-ups, triple-ups, etc.

Now that Pokerstars/Draftstars has entered the market --- hopefully we'll see better rake + promotions.

Just got invite from them in an email. If they have lower rake it might be worth checking out.

I haven't tried StarDraft yet or whatever it is called, but Yahoo's product is decent. Long way to go to catch up to FD/DK but I think it is OK considering they just rolled out like 3 months ago.

Yahoo doesn't really have the same goals as FD/DK would in DFS, so it could be interesting to see how their product evolves. They will likely use it to get people to their site, consume their content, use their site for services rather than try to make much $ off of it. At Yahoo's valuation even if DFS were profitable it wouldn't make a dent in anything.

None of the sites will.

Your best bet is to find someone in a different state to make an account, give them $ to play and then you just play on their account. This will work, the site isn't gonna waste the time to track the IP of the person if the account holder is in a legal state.

This is a huge tax headache if you hit a big score but I can't really think of anything else besides maybe showing up to a Bobby Jindal campaign rally (does he even have these?) and just yelling to him WE WANT DFS WE WANT DFS

The way they handled Poker Black Friday --- yep, first class. So I'll definitely try them for Daily Fantasy. They've always been good with customer service, software, bonus/promotions.

They bought a smaller site (Victiv), and re-branded as DraftStars.

1) On DraftStars, you clear the Deposit Bonus @ 2% rate (I think the other sites are 1%)
2) Rake for the multi-player group contests is typically 7-9% (some of the other sites are 10-13%)

Im out of state over 50% of the time anyway so the ip thing won't be a issue.

I did get a small account from a guy in Mississippi last season but all I did was a few 10 team small leagues for like $20.

That is boring to me.

I want to get into the big dollar h2h and the large pool contest but because of tax and trust reasons I can really get into it in a way that I would enjoy it.

I still still have that active FD account from about 5 years ago with like 100$ in it registered in Louisiana back when they were a hole in the wall company when they did not really enforce the banned state thing.

I really need to ask for my 100ish dollars just to see what they would say .

Long-term, Pokerstars (Amaya) is trying to become one-stop shopping for poker, casino gaming, sportsbook, and daily fantasy. They're already up & running in some European countries.

If they ever clear the American legal & political hurdles --- watch out!

I just logged into my fandual account . I have 88 I'm there .

In a hypothetic world where I enter one of these contest and win 1,000,000 what happens?

Would FD have to pay me or would they be able to throw the Louisiana thing in my face?

That would be an awesome court battle

I'm guessing that's an easy win for them. Explicitly states in their rules which states you can't play for real $ on.

If you want the $88, just chip dump it. You'll lose $8 but that's not that bad.

You might even be able to withdraw it.

But they let me deposit .

So they are just as guilty IMO.

You have a valid point but I don't think you are going to win a court case against them.

They have top notch jew lawyers

So how do I chip dump?

Play a H2H and play cutler and the saints defense?

Yeah...doesn't have to be that quite egregious to play guys who aren't playing (for big $ they would notice something like that as they have fraud prevention)

However for $88 it will be fine.

yeah... good anology.

Fantasy scoring was off the charts this week though.. Everything is inflated.

like i mentioned before, in my season league, I scored the highest ever over the past 5 year this past week breaking the record by more than 20 points, scoring 231 points in a traditional PPR 2 WR league

No offense to you, but I hope Rodgers, Cobb get no where close to 40 combined lol

A guy in my PPR league was well over 250 pts. Crazy week. He had Julio Jones, AJ Green, Greg olsen, Devonta Freeman to name a few

Luckily I was not playing against him

What I'm sick about... literally sick to my stomach.. is instead of Murray in my slot I had Freeman... Around 1245 EST I checked and saw I had $2300 (or so) left over and I was like do i like anyone who's better a little more, and I made the switch from Freeman to Murray, about a 20 point, 1.2 million difference.. but im sure a lot of these top guys can say that. it's still a bitter feeling

You had a line up that went off with $ 2300 left over , if you kept Freeman . That is a perfect example of why its not that important to spend every salary cap dollar. Good luck , I'd say you'll drop a few hundred places, but will be a nice pay day.

You are underestimating how high these scores are.

Anyone with guys in this game missed out on huge scores. It wasn't a normal week.

He won't drop too much.
