Let's be hypothetical and say I won 1,000,000.

There is just no way to pay me that money .

The tax implications would be on your end even though the money would be going to me.

Thanks for the offer but I don't see a way

youre not missing out on much tbh, this was a once in a lifetime lineup, and I still didn't place top 10

Nice lineup! You made some great calls - a lot of your picks were low owned so even better. GL, hope not too many climb past you tonite.

What I'm sick about... literally sick to my stomach.. is instead of Murray in my slot I had Freeman... Around 1245 EST I checked and saw I had $2300 (or so) left over and I was like do i like anyone who's better a little more, and I made the switch from Freeman to Murray, about a 20 point, 1.2 million difference.. but im sure a lot of these top guys can say that. it's still a bitter feeling

posting this made me see that that dthomas final drop, that I thought cost me 2 points ($12,500 instead of my current position of $7,500) Actually would have gave me the bonus of 3 points which would have been 17th place at 20,000 or maybe 18th place at 15k.. a single short pass, one of 4 that hit him in the hands he dropped.

This was the lineup that won last week. Amazing given he only had 4 points on defense and won.

the difference a week makes, if he won at 246 points, the winner this week has over 300 points.. i'm at 269

If dalton would not have thrown that 80 yard bomb to green at the end of the game this would not even be a thread

Gotta say.. As much as I pummel the DFS community and these two fn sites.. It is pretty fun. The only thing that's tough/frustrating is if there's a guy who goes off and you don't have him, you are almost automatically out of the running in every contest.

He is 36th for 6k right now

I'd put his equity around 3750...Closer to 4k than 3k. He won't fall that far.

The pace set by the guys already playing was very high.

This is exactly what I see as well. Nice work Defying.

yeah 1st off congrats on a nearly flawless lineup. after looking at your lineup it reminds me why i dont play. its a lottery, yeah there is some skill but its gotten so big now its more luck than skill. i think the high stakes double or nothings would be more skill based than luck.

2nd i was watching that balt cinny game if green doesnt catch that bomb and shake off the tackles your not cashing for much at all. one of those deals where whoever wins literally made every right move and everyone who finishes behind is gonna be like coulda woulda shoulda.

quick story last week i was out with some friends at a bar and friend of a friend was there we started talking, he told me he cashed for 17k in fantasy football the week before, i was like holy shit man thats awesome. i asked oh it was the $25 buy in one and says no, i played a bunch of the smaller buyins. he would just swap out a player here and there well he struck gin and finished really high in all of them. my next question was if you had gotten in the $25 millionaire maker how would you have done, he said with lineup he would have won around 250K, i was like holy shit! thats a kick in the balls!

you must have been going banana's when the card ran 2 int's back to the house for td's in the 1st Q of that game! i still cant get over how sick your lineup is with dalton and green getting around 80. with such a small % of people having that defense and seeing how your guys did at 1, i would have been going crazy

im down 46 in my FF league and i have rodgers and cobb going tonight and he is done and i am giving myself 0% chance of winning this week, those 2 guys get my 46 and another 35 lolololol

the only thing i could put into the same type of category would be playing in the main event wsop and getting down to the final 100/150 players and you know your in the running for the life changing score but you know with all the luck it took to get that far, you need it to continue. its like you came so close and 1 move here or there and you could have been that guy...

yeah... good anology.

Fantasy scoring was off the charts this week though.. Everything is inflated.

like i mentioned before, in my season league, I scored the highest ever over the past 5 year this past week breaking the record by more than 20 points, scoring 231 points in a traditional PPR 2 WR league

No offense to you, but I hope Rodgers, Cobb get no where close to 40 combined lol

I doubt I will ever do these sites, seems like such a crap shoot (so is it in my 12 team league). But each week for $20 bucks 400,000 people compete for a million bucks or is it a million bucks for the winner at the end or how does that work?

its weekly, 2 million to 1st the 1st 2 weeks, 1.2 million to first this 3rd week, 7million in prize, think of it like a poker tournament, extremely top heavy

Yeah, eventually someone is gonna kill their family after a kicker misses a chip shot.

Kickers play in FanDuel --- but kickers don't play in DraftKings, Yahoo, or Pokerstars/Draftstars.

But that doesn't eliminate the possibility of somebody winning/losing on a late extra-point (due to Defense/ST scoring). Ouch.

For example, on DraftKings --- 13 Points Allowed = +4 for Defense, but 14 Points Allowed = +1 for Defense, and 21 Points Allowed = 0 for Defense.

Only a matter of time before somebody loses $500k on a last-second TD and botched XP.

Contests with 400,000 entries are like playing the lottery? I'm shocked.

To be fair --- you can play the double-ups, triple-ups, etc.

Now that Pokerstars/Draftstars has entered the market --- hopefully we'll see better rake + promotions.
