I dont make anywhere near 1 mil per year....but I do pretty well. I speak with my cpa at minimum twice per month. Never would I seek tax advice on an online forum. Seems strange to say the least.

When the subject is online gambling related, what better place to ask for previous experience of others than an online gambling forum?

I never said any such thing, you fucking liar....I never used the word "girlfriend" vittard made that part up......I never used the word "stalking" ....vittard made that up.....and now you're pretending I said that... You're a pathetic joke and a terrible liar.
This is what this pathetic liar is reduced to, word parsing like Nixon, Hillary, the idiot Drumpf. "girlfriend" vs "woman I previously had a relationship with". That's how this pathetic piece of lying trash operates. Quote Originally Posted by Acebb View PostYes. I had to sit in a cell with a bunch of other dudes for a few hours before I could see the magistrate to get released. Then I had to have 3 court appearances of course of 2 months before the charges were finally dropped (my attorney had all sorts of evidence this was BS) and the bitch prosecutor tried to shake my hand and say she was sorry. I laughed in her face.Note that neither the police or prosecutor’s office bothered to ask me if I even knew this person (I lived 20 miles away) nor did they conduct any rudimentary investigation. This is one of the reasons I’m not a fan of big government. When you freedom is taken away and threatened to be taken away for some time based on the word of a lunatic, you get a whole new perspective.

He received a 1099-Misc for $30,000, there is nothing he can do about that. Asking strangers on a forum for advice makes absolutely no sense. We would have to know his entire financial condition to see if there is a way to offset the 1099-Misc. He says that he has 3 CPA's and he asks strangers to give an opinion on ways to offset the income? No one has ever seen or talked to this guy and we are supposed to give him financial advice? Receiving a form titled 1099-Misc is pretty straight forward. 3 CPA's? There are only 2 legitimate answers as to why he even cranked out this "Hey, look at me" thread.1. To slam a current poster who happens to be an accountant. He has had a running feud with this poster and it is his way of digging at him under the false premise of a legitimate question. After his ban, he has to tread lightly and this was his weak attempt at doing so. 2. Adding another chapter to the fictional book he has tried to sell the people at this forum. You really aren't a bright person, are you?

....You left out that I never said "stalking" that vittard made that up......Why did you leave that part out, liar?.....Please define the "relationship"? ....Was it a work relationship?....Was it a marriage? .... Was it a friendship?.....The fact you have to insist it is "parsing" is hysterical.....those two things are not equal, but you have to go with "parsing" because you're full of shit. Look, you're a fucking liar and now you're running away from you own lies and simply can't acknowledge it because you're a silly dumb piece of shit.

There are zero police reports that have me arrested for stalking my girlfriend like there are about you, by your own admission.
.....Really? Where was this, again? ....When are you going to acknowledge vittard made this up and you are continuing with this lie you pathetic pile of shit?

You're a sick stalker on the internet. It's hardly a stretch to think you're one in real life. You and the fraud have police records for stalking/harassing/beating women. I don't. Pretty simple, idiot.

In 2015 I had over 40k in fantasy winnings. It is reported to you on a 1099-Misc and you report it on the other income line on your tax return. What they report to you is your net winnings, so there is no reducing it by what you lost at that same site. If you had a loss at a different site, that's a bit fuzzy. If it were me I would claim gambling losses under itemized deductions up to that fantasy income including casino losses. You could also possibly file it as a business on a schedule C writing off expenses, but then you have to pay self employment taxes (employer and employee portions of social security and medicare) on the net income. To make things more complicated, I lost overall playing fantasy in 2016, but it was never reported as a business so I'm not sure how I could go about taking a loss on it for 2016. That sucks. Maybe someone on here could suggest something. I'm done with fantasy though. They have made some changes including increasing rake and segregating players by experience level which have wiped out my edge.

As for the OP, to offset the income he should just make up some business he took a loss on such as Professional forum trolling services or Lot K custodial services since almost everything he says is imaginary anyway.

This clown is such a fraud it is laughable. Notice:

Mentally Ill delusion: “I Bet $1,000 per game
Reality: I play in $4 contests

Mentally Ill delusion: “I am a married guy in his 40’s with 2 kids and this great life
Reality: I play in $4 contests against college kids/25 year olds living with mommy

Mentally Ill delusion: “Every penny of my wife’s paycheck goes into the bank and doesn’t get touched
Reality: Can one of you dumb Trump supporters give me advice on how to minimize $8,000 in taxes?
