yeah he pretty much handed a win to the Skins

up 17 with a bit over 1 minute until HT and tosses a pick that WAS converts for 17-7

then 2nd series throws an out into double coverage for easy pick that was run back to the PHI 19. a couple plays later = 17-14

WAS had 27 points on 239 yards ... none of their 3 TD drives started in their own territory thanks to Wentz

a winning team scoring 27+ on <240 yards has only happened 4x in 6 years and 29x in 31 years

PHI = bad QB, horrible OL, and a hurt RB

The interception changed the game and Wentz got out of sync after all those hits. On the drive after the Redskins scored to make it 17-7, Wentz overthrew a deep ball that would've been a touchdown. He was off on a bunch of passes after that as well and also had some drops from his WRs.

Seemed to be a mix of bad Wentz and bad players around him

The year the Eagles won the Super Bowl Wentz was the front runner to win the MVP before he blew his knee out. He's proven to be a good QB when he has a decent OL and decent WR's around him.

I've found him to be an average at best QB since he came in the league.

I don't think Wentz is great. But I'd rate him above average. If you rate him average at best, then you would take a good 15 QB's over him?

Here are the QB's I would for sure take (this year for one year) over Wentz:

Brees
Jackson
Mahomes
Rodgers
Wilson

QB's that I'd rate him similar to:

Watson
Brady (Only in this group due to age and some diminishing skills)
Ryan
Cousins
Stafford
Prescott
Watson
Newton
Allen
Murray

So I'd rate him as high as 6, but no lower than 16 at the worst. 10-12th best QB in the league is probably fair/accurate IMO.

12-15 for me. No way close to as good as Watson, Stafford or Murray. Murray is going to be special.

Comes from a guy that thinks LaMar Jackson is a WR.....

You just love to take your shots don't you?

You didn't think Jackson was worth a damn when he first lined up under C either so don't pretend you had some crystal ball and could tell how much he would improve.

Should I say "comes from a gut that thinks Trump will fall hard" every time you comment about politics?

Another Wentz loss.

26-43 242 0 TDs and 2 Ints.

Philly will have to have take a long hard look at rebuilding after this year starting with drafting a QB.

They not drafting a QB
But they do need some O-line.

Wentz if far down the list of biggest problems on the Eagles.

There is a huge gulf between a QB that sets a franchise back 7 years and a QB that is not quite as good as you thought he would be .

The biggest issue is no offensive line and no receivers .

And now Peters got hurt in overtime .

This might be the least talented offense in the entire NFL and I’m still comfortable in saying that Wentz is still the best player on that team on the offensive side of the ball .

Why a coach who is 0-2 doesn’t go for it on 4th down is a little puzzling, but hey I guess 0-2-1 is better than 0-3...IF they don’t make it and IF Cincy can kick a FG

To me, lame
