Why would I trust Rivers more? Cuz hes been here longer? Would you trust Ryan Fitzpatrick over Wentz in a Super Bowl game?

Philip Rivers has choked several times on the big stage.

Wentz has given me no reason not to trust him. The guy is special and has a SB. Yes, he has one. I know Foles took the reins in the playoffs, but I can't see them pulling off that run without Wentz's MVP season that year.

Theres a reason the Eagles got rid of Foles and kept Wentz

Come on guy, Rivers is borderline HOF. Fittzy is a journeyman. Not a good comparison.

Wentz has a SB? If you say so.

Not a good day

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz struggled in Week 11 as expected. Facing off against an elite New England Patriots Defense, Wentz completed just 20 of his 40 passes for 214 yards and one touchdown. Wentz's score came early in the game on a first quarter five-yard pass to tight end Dallas Goedert. Wentz had some solid moments, but overall he was shutdown by the Patriots defense as predicted. He'll have better days ahead, starting with a date with the Seahawks in Week 12.-

5-6

Yes, there is another elephant in the room. In a 17-9 loss to the Seahawkswhere the margin of defeat should have been triple what it was, Carson Wentz looked like a quarterback unaccustomed to life on two feet. He lost two fumbles. He threw two interceptions. He threw behind Zach Ertz, and over Miles Sanders, and underneath Jordan Matthews and J.J. Arcega-Whiteside. Two of those throws would have extended promising drives. Against a Seahawks team that seemed desperate to give away a game, the Eagles had more opportunities than they deserved, and they failed to take advantage.

Eagles still have the Dolphins, Redskins, and Giants x2 left to play. The nfce is still open.

This may be a cold take moment where you guys can bump this thread years down the road but I believe he's garbage.
Carson Wentz
-Most completions by an Eagles QB in a season.
-Most passing yards by an Eagles QB in a season.
-Only QB to pass for 4000 yards without a 500 yard WR.

Winston threw for over 5000 yards this year.
Both average QBs.

Winston had WRs with over 500 yards, Wentz did not. Winston had better WRs to work with.

I am not saying Wentz may or may not be an average QB.

I AM saying the OP was WAY off on his prediction that Wentz would set the eagles franchise back 7 years...

Wish I would have found this bet around the time I posted this. Philly was 5-6 and Dallas 6-5 with a win over Philly. One of the few leaning on the Eagles this week.

The Eagles were up 17 points on a team that finished 3-13 last year. And then they gave up 27 unanswered to lose. That’s embarrassing. Just can’t happen. The Eagles’ schedule only gets tougher, especially later in the year. Blowing one of their easier games — especially a division matchup — could prove to be costly.

yeah he pretty much handed a win to the Skins

up 17 with a bit over 1 minute until HT and tosses a pick that WAS converts for 17-7

then 2nd series throws an out into double coverage for easy pick that was run back to the PHI 19. a couple plays later = 17-14

WAS had 27 points on 239 yards ... none of their 3 TD drives started in their own territory thanks to Wentz

a winning team scoring 27+ on <240 yards has only happened 4x in 6 years and 29x in 31 years

PHI = bad QB, horrible OL, and a hurt RB

Did you just completely deflect......the total collapse of the Eagles yesterday....... And put it off on the Lions?........ You sound like a lib, Democrat....
Why do you always leave periods after every single comment you make.......
