A few years ago, a buddy of mine got hooked up with a broad who was totally psycho. Everyone, including me, warned him he'd be better off finding someone else. And I mean everyone...even his dad was openly telling him to break it off. He didn't listen and ended up getting this girl knocked up. You can probably guess how his life has been since.
The point is when one or two people tell you something you may not want to hear, it's easy to dismiss. But when literally every single person in your life tells you that same thing, it's probably time to stop and listen.
The 140-lb placekicker doesn't talk crap to everyone like this in real life, because he'd get his ass kicked. So his outlet is these forums where he can run his mouth with impunity. And the mods finally got sick of it all.
