Doesn't look like a Denver +7 spread will materialize....

Denver is wearing all white, and everyone knows how hard it is to catch a white Bronco in California.

how do you become a sharp? how do guys around here become sharps? or even know sharps?

and if they know what the sharps are doing, then are the sharps really sharps? or are they all rolling in the dough?

Carolina looks like a one dimensional team to me....very good at rushing #1 in attempts and #2 in rush yds and #11 in yds per rush.........but their passing game is suspect......#28 in pass attempts and#29 in pass completions although they do seem to get some distance out of the ones they throw #6 in yds per pass..........The Denver defense looks like they are made to stop these guys rushing #9 in rush attempts #1 in rushing yds #1 in yds per rush......#1or#2 in ten defensive category s.........if Carolina has a defensive weakness it is defending the pass #32 in attempts and #27in completions............Denver offense I don't know what they do....they don't excel at anything except field goals......well just stop Carolina and do something new
I wouldn't put too much stock on these stats. They're pass attempts and completions are low ranked because they have blown out so many teams so early, winning 9 games by 10 or more points (and since mid-season have won 6 games by 17 or more). They also run the ball well, are near the top in TO differential, and play great defense. Defensively, their passing stats also are low because teams way behind pass and pass trying to catch up all through the 2nd half. One dimensional? Have you seen them play?

mock all you want but it's the reality of the industry.

anyone can claim to be a sharp but this is a message board and no way to determine who knows the sharps that matter vs those who claim to be or run a tout. So this is pointless. Good luck on your bets.

everyone who talks about sharps always think they're on the same side as the sharps, and people who disagree are the squares

hell yes, I'm going to mock, I think it's funny

sounds good. So if I start playing all your plays on the Rx, I can claim you are a sharp.

Manning reportedly looking very good in practice the last two days. Hopefully Kubiak will give him the chance once again to run the "Peyton Manning" hurry up offense in the 4 wide, I think Carolina could be vulnerable and not expecting that type of look.

I'd rather just be me

You gotta be you, Willie. Because if you're not going to be you, then who is gonna be you? Hitting your favorite game tomorrow night. I'm at the Cosmo for 3 nights, so I'm thinking of pacing it out and probably starting with the "Dark" side.

Looks like the game may drop to a 5 by tomorrow and possibly a 44 on the total. I predict a -210/ +185 on ML. This is my current at 5Dimes...

Sun 2/7 101 Carolina Panthers -5½ -103 -217 o44½ -101
6:30PM 102 Denver Broncos +5½ -107 +197 u44½ -109

Looks like the Public have spoken with Carolina over 70% of the bets thus far. You know what, I've heard that Vegas has won the SuperBowl a ridiculous amount of times. Looks like many are chasing their losses, don't follow them. The Broncos are going to win this game.

As stated, the spread is going down, so it looks like it will be more balanced by game time. People betting on Carolina has nothing to do with whether the Broncos will win this game. However, I do notice that the MVP prop hasn't changed. And I'm assuming that it's pretty unlikely it wouldn't go to a QB this year (how could they not give it to Peyton in what would likely be his final game if the Broncos win). Right now Cam is 2/3 and Manning is 3.5/1. That tells me all I need to know. One way or another, one of us will be right come Sunday night. Panthers in a Blowout!

Ain't gonna be no blowout my friend against the #1 D in the land. Denver has the better overall roster than Carolina, especially at the wide receiver spot. This ain't the NFC South, you are going to get all you can ask for come Sunday.

Somehow, I don't think either of us bragging about what one team is gonna do versus the other is going to have any impact on Sunday's game. For me, I'll take the team with the great defense AND great offense versus the team that merely has a great defense (but hasn't played a QB like Newton before) and a very mediocre offense (don't need to go beyond points scored to figure that out). Defense is 1 versus 6 (favor Denver) and Offense is 1 vs 8 (favor Carolina). As for the way the money moves, there have been numerous games where all the money went one way and Vegas took a bath (so that just seems silly to me). I remember growing up in the Bay Area and watching the Redskins/Raiders Superbowl. Vegas couldn't stop the Raiders money from coming in and we all know how that turned out.

I really think if you run up and down the roster that Denver has the better team. You are being somewhat silly if you don't recognize that. So is Cam Superman? That's what we are going to find out.

Oh and just in case you didn't notice, Carolina put up 80 points over the last 2 weeks against the #2 and #5 ranked defenses in the NFL. Broncos put up only 43 against the #9 and the #21. 'Nuf said.

Sorry, I gave you stats (not subjective opinion). Let the teams play.

Ok, lets play some ball. But I guarantee you that Carolina does not have a receiver that Denver is scared of. They can play press man coverage all day as long as they want to.
