Does Brady Deserve the SB MVP

Nobody wins MVP when their team doesn't win the game.

Doesn't mean he didn't have an MVP worthy performance. Him winning MVP isn't saying he won it by himself or anything.

it has nothing to do with hate.... it's a discussion.. and clearly im not alone.. 43% of other people agree with me...

All this 4th Q talk of Brady's greatness IMO was his making up for his mistakes. He played fantastic in the 4th.. but his mistakes early in the game put his team in that position...

Here's the thing...... before the game even started.... Brady or Wilson had the inside track on MVP. Whichever won the game. QB for the winning SB team...... just the way the world works....... so much for that!

And....... anyone can discuss who may be the greatest Superbowl QB of All-Time. Discuss yes! BUT....... nobody with a thread of intelligence can argue strongly AGAINST Tom Brady.

My point is without Tom Brady the Patriots do not sniff that Superbowl victory. Butler made an insane play, no one is taking that away from him. You are certainly taking everything away from Brady though.

i think people realize it might have still needed a 3rd down pass...but the order of things seemed out of sync.....based on who Seattle is....

I'm not taking anything anything away from Brady. I'm just trying to give more credit to Butler, because no matter what was done in the previous 59 minutes and 34 seconds, what he did at that moment in all probability won the game for them. As I said earlier, I just like seeing the little guy get more recognition. They deserve it.

Using this odd logic, Butler could not have been MVP either. After all, it was Butler that gave up the big pass play to Kearse to put them in the position to score just short of the goal line.

Im not taking this position. But just pointing out that it's a little ridiculous to say a player can't win MVp if he made any mistake earlier in the game.

You can think Brady is the GOAT, and yet still think Edleman and/or Butler were more deserving of being the MVP than Brady, without being a Brady "hater". Brady was fantastic in the 4th Q, winning time, but made some un-Brady like decisions and passes earlier, + star QB's get too much MVP Love when their team wins the Superbowl, IMO. Edelman was a stud throughout, Butler made great plays throughout, including the one that wound up being the fluke that almost let Seattle steal the game.

I don't think it is defensive. Defying has been a documented Brady/Patriots/Freedom hater for awhile so you have to consider the source. If someone else said it then it would be different.

Also some of us just happen to hink he is wrong, are people not allowed to give their opinions or something?
