Big Deal...they were 10 points back.....

1 rush for 1 yard in three tries and the game is over and we are talking about Wilson and his playoff record.....

true, and Brady wouldn't be MVP

he wasn't very lucky the last two times he was there, and I might suggest Rogers should have been playing if Wilson didn't catch a record number of breaks in the last 5 minutes vs the Packers

the Tuck rule game, the unimaginable defensive lapse by the Broncos vs the Ravens, the immaculate reception, the Cowboys dropping a wide open TD pass a few decades ago..........................the list goes on and on, shit happens

I love the hate, I'm at a loss for words at this point

WTF
I watched the game with Defying and afterwards I said "well there's another MVP for Brady" and he says (get this) "nah he won't win it".

Hahahahaha

I offered him +250 on the field (this was AFTER the game) and he took it.

His hate game is strong, I'll give him that.

Proof positive that hatred like that clouds your thinking.

Even if you don't think Brady DESERVES it (which I would strongly disagree with), you should know he's gonna get it. And deep down I'm sure Defy knew that. But yeah, clouded judgement for sure.

Not a Brady fan, but hands down MVP. Seattle forces you to play a certain way. You can't get deep on their secondary. You are left to pick what you can underneath.

Not everyone is hating. Some of us just think Butler or Edelman should have been MVP. Doesn't mean we hate Brady. I certainly don't hate Brady. I think he is one of the greatest ever but I,like many others, feel the MVP should have went to Butler and for good reason.

Cause he made 1 play? Great play but you don't just give him MVP when Brady played very well (especially in winning time in the 4th quarter) vs Seattle D

He made 1 play but Brady made more.

I love how we are having this conversation though. Makes me happy that its even a debate.

No wrong side, just my opinion.

The funny thing is, without that one play, Brady probably is NOT the MVP because odds are Seattle scores and either Wilson, Lynch or possibly Mathews wins it. So, in reality, the ONLY reason he won the MVP was because of Butler. So, Brady owes this MVP to Butler, which is why in mind Butler should have gotten it.

If Brady doesn't throw 4 TDs then NE gets killed and Butler has no chance to win so that logic is a little twisted.

4 TDs on the Seahawks including a perfect 4th quarter, just think it was a no brainer.

We could go back and forth all day on this one. Butler did not throw 4 Td's.

I'd still make a case for Edelman. He's probably got a concussion after that game. Hell, he probably played most of the game with one.

THANK YOU PatsFan, this is the argument I been having with Defying since the game ended. My point is exactly what you're saying.

My logic isn't twisted at all. My logic is spot on. Brady did not win the MVP because of his stats and what he did, he won the MVP because his team won the game. If they don't win, his stats and what he did was the same, but he wouldn't have won the MVP. Hey, I don't care that he won it, but personally I would have like to see them give it to Butler. Too much emphasis is given to QB when it comes to these things and they obviously have a huge advantage when it comes down to selecting someone. Would have been nice to see the little guy get some recognition for a change, especially since his one play was the reason Brady won the MVP.

And Brady did not make the INT that won the game for them, what's your point? Some people forget this is a team sport and Tom Brady did not win that game all by himself.

Yes. The MVP goes to a guy on the winning team.

Nobody wins MVP when their team doesn't win the game.

Doesn't mean he didn't have an MVP worthy performance. Him winning MVP isn't saying he won it by himself or anything.
