If you like to play and win sometimes, more power to you. I do the same with craps when I'm in Vegas. I love it and it is entertainment. Sometimes I win, but I know it's a losing game.

I play often...about 2 days every 3 months between the Wynn, Bellagio, and Cesars Palace. I cant play Black Jack w/ a crap but enjoy playing Baccarat and making $$.

The game of baccarat can be played with 6 or 8 decks of cards and the probability distribution for a hand dealt from a complete shoe of 6 or 8 decks is as follows:
<TABLE class=grey cellSpacing=5 cellPadding=3 border=0><TBODY><TR bgColor=#cccccc><TD># of decks</TD><TD>Banker wins </TD><TD>Player wins</TD><TD>Tie</TD></TR><TR><TD>1 deck</TD><TD> </TD><TD> </TD><TD> </TD></TR><TR><TD>6 decks</TD><TD>0.458653</TD><TD>0.446279</TD><TD>0.095069</TD></TR><TR><TD>8 decks </TD><TD>0.458597</TD><TD>0.446247</TD><TD>0.095156</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
The casino's commission on the winning Banker hand (4% or 5%) and payouts on a tie bet (8:1 or 9:1) implies the following house advantages:
<TABLE class=grey cellSpacing=5 cellPadding=3 border=0><TBODY><TR bgColor=#cccccc><TD># of decks</TD><TD>Banker bet 5%</TD><TD>Banker bet 4%</TD><TD>Player bet</TD><TD>Bet tie 9:1</TD><TD>Bet tie 8:1</TD></TR><TR><TD>1 deck*</TD><TD>1.01%</TD><TD> </TD><TD>1.29%</TD><TD> </TD><TD>15.57%</TD></TR><TR><TD>6 decks**</TD><TD>1.0558%</TD><TD>0.5972% </TD><TD>1.2374% </TD><TD>4.9313%</TD><TD>14.4382%</TD></TR><TR><TD>8 decks </TD><TD>1.0579%</TD><TD>0.5993% </TD><TD>1.2351% </TD><TD>4.8440% </TD><TD>14.3596%</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

What gets you here is the number of hands per hour also. Where knuckleheads can slow a bj game to a crawl deciding what to do, this is auto deal. You can write the results in blue, red, a fuckin purple crayon, it does not matter. Counting is useless. No way to turn positive expectancy here.

What he's saying is that you may be up, but the more you play, the more likely you will be a lifetime loser eventually. You can't ever make it a +EV game.

Come on Max. I thought you were sharp. Streaks occur naturally and unpredictably. I am glad you are up, but you are bucking the odds

What's it worth not to have to listen to some loud mouth NYer tell you that you cost him by taking a hit in BJ? His mouth is shut in Baccarat!

To ME--this is exactly why sports betting is 1000% preferred over ANY table game!

Good point, drunken obnoxious players just don't hang at the back o rack tables. Plus you get to play with colored pens/crayons. All that and some comps. Still waiting for the way you turn this table game into + exp. I would prefer how I beat it to I just win stories.

I actually get amused when clueless people get mad at me because I hit A7 against a 10 or hit 12 against a 3. They just reveal how dumb they are.

I was under the impression this was a forum to share winning strategies? Good information. You can beat baccarat but I can't tell you how is little benefit to this newbie. In fact, I would say it is counterproductive. If you cannot show me how you turn this into a + EV then you are merely on a positive variance. Which you can also acheive at Bingo, the lotto and other games I would never play. Nevermind, you are the best baccarat player I have ever heard of.

Uncle Sam I am...why dont you go f*#* Off

I guess I have been +EV for 5+ years...wow you think I am the only one. Get a life dude....you seem to have other problems than just my response to your posts...I suggest you get laid or get some good weed and STFU. Life is too short to be worried about someone else and the way they make $$. Find your own way to make $$ instead of relying on other people to share their winning strategies and HELP you make $$.

I am sorry. Being a newbie I thought I could ask you how in the world you could achieve a +EV, especially on a game that does not have one, as far as I know. So I asked if you could share how and promptly get told to get fucked. Thank you for your time.

Bottom line, you CAN make money at Bacc, maybe the "long haul" you will lose, but individual gambling sessions can and have proven to be VERY profitable...more so than most other casino games, at least in my case.

same here...and as i mentioned but got ripped by Illini...do you also notice some jackass's playing but aching to give their cash away? I see this ALL the time i play and they make the best fades i have ever seen, they will be broke in a matter of mins, so why not profit by doing the opposite of them...
