Of course they could..This match-up is not as lopsided as people are making it out. Philly matches up very well against this team. Don't be fooled. Ml of +250 (currently at CRIS) provides awesome value. just my 2 cents.

Sage advice here!

Unfortunatly Philly is The Bsaketball Generals to the Harlem Globtrotters,

It will be the Bill ,Tom, and his Assistant Coordinators going away Party on national T.V.
And the eagles won the audition to practice against them... nothing more. Enjoy the Game and make some money at it. Because you will not see another team like this for some time. Just like the teams of old ( Etc..Dallas, San Fran, Denver,Pittsburg) So Fellas enjoy history in the Making!!

Im not a Pats fan but I live out here... Everyone was scared of Indi and Pitt, but now they think that its over.... Philly has no chance...., this is the statement i get from Pats fans on the game. I really dont see how you can be that confident. Steelers tried to give them a game, but the turnovers out them in a hole so fast, they couldnt get out. Philly isnt the kind of team to turn the ball over this year, but the Pats seem to make teams do it anyways. I think that Philly has the style to give the Pats fits. They have fast D, but also a tough, strong D. I think McNabb has turned into one of the best Qb's in the league. He is a Michael Vick and Steve McNair rolled into one.

Bottom line is that its hard to go against New England. But New England excells when its cold, like it was the last 2 weeks. This will be warm weather. They are damn good, and I havent went against them in 2 years. But they are not invicible. If Miami can beat them convincingly( Sorry pats fan, I lost money on that one too, big time, but they were outplayed most of the game) then Philly could def beat them. I honestly see the Patriots winning by a score of 27-24, this time being down by 4, with a tuchdown to take the lead, and the D holding Philly off. But really, what do any of us know? Anything can hapen, and at the superbowl, it always seems to. Good luck

I'm starting to notice more and more bias toward NE. I guess they have earned it over the past 4 seasons.

Just looked at nfl.com and 2 links on there state "Patriots rout Steelers" and "Eagles make it." Interesting that a 14 point win by the Pats is called a "rout" and a 17 point near shutout by the Eagles is called "Making it." I suppose they are referring more to Philly making it on their 4th try, but it seems a little slanted.

Everyone knows what NE has done this season, and everyone knows that the NFC was a weaker conference. But one cannot discount the fact that the Eagles won all but 1 game on their schedule this season. (Throw out the StL & Cincy games when starters rested. Would anyone have picked StL or Cincy to beat Philly if they had played starters and taken the games seriously?)

Everyone also knows that on any given Sunday, ANY NFL team has enough talent to beat ANY other NFL team if everything clicks right (a la Miami vs. NE, although that was on a Monday!). To me, it speaks volumes that Philly only had 1 hiccup all season at Pittsburgh.....the same team that beat NE a week earlier, no less. Yes, Philly struggled to beat lowly Cleveland on the road, but they did beat them ON THE ROAD despite struggling. That says a lot.

I hate going against NE, but I think Philly may have what it takes to keep this one close. Still looking at angles and waiting for the line to (I hope) rise.
