I do remember when I was very little my older brother used to collect bottles which you got 10cents each for when you returned them.
I guess they finally figured out that sand was pretty cheap and stopped paying for returns........
Whale you might invest in one of them flat carts with wheels on it to roll under the cars to get the converter or maybe send the asian lady under the car she may be able to get under the car easier than you and if the cops come she will tell them Joe made her do it.
I See Into the Future and got this pic
When we first got our drivers licenses back in 1976 we would roll up and down alleys in North Dallas where the garages were in back.
Would look for open doors and cartons of empty 32oz soda bottles which could be traded for $1.50 for six. One guy would drive and the other guy would load the trunk.
Get about 30 of 'em and we could afford two tickets to the outfield seats at Rangers games plus food/drink
Not sure how much WW will want to Invest in his new Stealing Business. Would seem more sensible to just steal the flat cart first and then stay on a roll
It's funny. I used to seperate them and put them in a grocery bag next to the dumpster. They never got collected. It's almost as if they would rather work for it by picking through the trash.I give my to the bums...I like to give back to the community.
Unlike Rob, I separate my cans and bottles to save the guys a trip into the dumpster
$1.60 where i'm working.......Santa Monica
